If you follow the official instructions mentioned on the CAT website for printing the CAT admit card. Nowhere is it mentioned that the printed CAT 2025 admit card must be in colour. They also emphasise that the photograph and signature must be ‘legibly printed’.
Although many experts recommend that the CAT admit card must be printed in colour, as the photograph and the signature will be much clearer and less likely to get rejected for blurring or poor print.
In case you only have a black-and-white printer, you can ensure that the photograph and details are distinct and not faded or unclear.
Here are some of the key requirements that a candidate must look out for before printing the final CAT 2025 admit card.
The photograph must be in colour, on a white light-coloured background.
The file uploaded during registration must be in JPEG/JPG, size of less than 80 KB and scanned dimensions of 1200 x 1200 pixels.
Lastly, the photo must be of recent (within the last 6 months) and should clearly show your recent appearance.
Candidate’s signature should be in JPEG/JPG and adhere to the specified size/dimensions, and must be scanned with proper clarity at the time of registration.
