XAT Application Form 2018: The application process of XAT 2018 concluded on December 15, 2017 (with late fee). Without the late fee, the XAT 2018 application form filing deadline was November 30. XLRI Jamshedpur had released XAT 2018 application form on August 16. The application form of XAT 2018 was available only in online mode. The XAT 2018 admit card will be available for download from December 20, 2017, onwards. Aspirants had to visit the official website and register first before proceeding towards filling the XAT 2018 application form. The application fee for XAT is Rs. 1650 for all categories and Rs. 2000 for late application. The application form of XAT 2018 was divided into three parts- registration, filling up the form with requisite details and paying the application fee. Before filling the application form, aspirants must check the XAT eligibility criteria. According to that,
Candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised institute or university.
The course duration should be at least three years
Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply provided they complete the course by June 2018
NRI and foreign candidates have to apply through GMAT scores. However, those belonging to Dubai and Kathmandu may appear for XAT to be held in these cities

XAT 2018 Application Fee Payment Modes
Applicants have to choose one of the following modes of payment for XAT 2018 application fee.
1. Online payment gateway
Credit/Debit Card – Candidates can pay XAT application fee through Visa/Master Card
Net Banking – Only IDBI account holders are eligible for this mode of payment.
2. Cash payment – Applicants have to take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip and visit any IDBI bank branch to make the payment through cash
3. Demand Draft – The Demand Draft has to be made in favour of “XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT” payable at Jamshedpur.
Applicants paying XAT 2018 application form fee through second and third mode should update the payment details on the registration page. In case of failure to do the same, those candidates will not be allowed to upload their photograph and signature.
Prerequisites for filling XAT Application Form 2018
Candidates should keep the following documents ready before starting XAT 2018 application form filling process.
Marksheets of Class X, Class XII, Graduation and Masters degree (if applicable)
Photograph – Candidates have to select a recent passport size colour photograph in .jpeg format. The file size should be between 20 KB - 50 KB and dimensions should be 200 x 230 pixels. The picture should have been taken in light or white background. The face should be clear in the photograph otherwise the application may get rejected. The size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB
Signature – Applicants’ signature should be made on a white paper with a black ink pen. It should be scanned in 200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution and the file size should be between 10 KB - 20 KB
How to fill XAT Application Form 2018

Click on the Register tab and create a new account using your personal email id, wherein you will receive XAT ID and registration link
Click on the registration link to create XAT 2018 login password. Candidates must preserve the password for logging in to their XAT 2018 account along with XAT ID
After logging in to XAT 2018 account, applicants have to choose the preferred exam city from the list of exam cities
The next step is to enter their names, upload photograph and signature and save it
Applicants have to select their citizenship from options like Indian, Foreign and NRI
Candidates interested in applying for XLRI programmes have to choose among Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM) and General Management Programme (GMP). This is an optional step and can be skipped in case they are not interested in applying for XLRI
Fill Preliminary and mandatory information such as name, date of birth, gender, parents’ name, category and contact details have to be filled in the next step
Enter educational qualification starting from Class X till the highest degree received
Provide details of work experience starting from the latest job. Candidates applying for XLRI GMP programme must have minimum five years experience as on May 31, 2018
Next step is to pay the fee of Rs. 1650 with Rs. 300 per XLRI programme and Rs. 2000 (in case of late application with Rs. 500 per XLRI programme) through any of the above-mentioned modes
After completing the XAT application form filling process, candidates have to take a print out of the application confirmation message
XAT 2018 Application Process
Apart from XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT 2018 scores will be accepted by over 150 B-schools across India. Apart from XLRI, if the XAT aspirants wish to apply for any other XAT participating institute, they have to apply separately by visiting the institute’s official website.
After the completion of XAT application process, candidates downloaded the XAT admit card 2018, from December 20, 2018. Approximately 90,000 candidates appeared for the exam.
