Hello there,

The MAT cutoff for IIFM Bhopal (Indian Institute of Forest Management) typically ranges between 75-80 percentile . However, it may vary each year depending on factors like the number of applicants and difficulty level of the exam.

Key Points:

  • A MAT composite score of 600+ is generally considered safe for a call.
  • Apart from the cutoff, your academic profile, work experience (if any), and performance in GD/PI also play a role in the final selection.

Ensure you meet other eligibility criteria and prepare well for further rounds!

Hello,

Based on previous years' data, VIT Business School (VITBS) typically requires a minimum MAT percentile of 80 for MBA admissions. A MAT score of 449.50 generally corresponds to a percentile below 80. Therefore, it is unlikely that this score meets VITBS's cutoff criteria.

Consider the following steps:

  • Verify Score Interpretation : Confirm your exact percentile corresponding to the 449.50 score.
  • Explore Alternative Institutions : Research other business schools with lower MAT cutoff percentiles.
  • Retake the MAT : Prepare to achieve a higher score to meet VITBS's requirements.
  • Consider Other Entrance Exams : VITBS accepts scores from exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and ATMA.

Hope it helps !

Hello Manish,

Yes, some universities and institutions allow students to pursue an MBA without giving the MAT exam . These institutions might consider other entrance exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT , or may even offer direct admission based on academic performance, work experience, or through management quotas .

Regarding payment with a credit card , many universities allow tuition fees to be paid using various payment methods, including credit cards . However, using a credit card for the entire MBA fee could lead to high interest rates if not paid back on time, so it’s important to be mindful of that.

Always check the specific admission requirements of the university or college you’re interested in.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Two papers make up the Class 8 NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) exam:

The Mental Ability Test (MAT) measures a person's capacity for critical thought, reasoning, and problem-solving. It covers topics such as pattern recognition, numerical series, classifications, analogies, and more.

The Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT, assesses a candidate's general knowledge as well as their proficiency in science, math, and social studies. It centres on the academic material that students have studied.

While every state may have a unique curriculum and format, both exams usually feature multiple-choice questions (M CQs).
