Once the results are out and the candidate is allocated a seat. They will be required to take action on the seat allotment within the stipulated timeframe. In case the candidate fails to do so, it will lead to cancellation of the seat allotment. Following the release of the results, candidates will have the following options:

• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and don’t participate in further rounds.

• Float: Accept the seat but also stay eligible for higher preference in the next round.

• Slide: Accept the seat, but you can seek a better branch in the same institute in the next round.
