Eligibility Criteria for MBA after M.Tech

Students who wish to pursue MBA after M.Tech needs to fulfil some minimum criteria by the universities in order to secure their admissions in good colleges of India.

  • Students should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum score of 55% for general category and 45% for reserved ones.
  • Students also have to appear for national level entrance exams for MBA such as CAT (for IIMs in India), XAT, GMAT etc. It is required to score a good percentile to get admission in the dream colleges.
  • There are some universities who conduct entrance exams on university levels too such as SNAP entrance test for MBA is one which allows the students to take admission in their 16 symbiosis institutions.
  • Those students who wish to pursue MBA from abroad have to give entrance tests such as GMAT and GRE. In addition to this, they are also required to give English language proficiency tests such as IELTS or TOEFL asked by the respective universities.
