    About CAT (Common Admission Test)

    CAT (Common Admission Test) is a computer-based MBA entrance exam for admissions into IIMs and various other well-established business schools. Students in lakhs in number register for CAT every year and thus the competition becomes challenging and a bit hard. The exam is conducted for a duration of 120 minutes and the question paper is divided into three sections, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). There are 40 minutes allotted for each section and includes questions of two types- MCQs and non-MCQs. The scorecard of CAT is valid only for one year. CAT 2021 will have a total of 76 questions. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
