IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2020 - Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur will release the admission criteria for admission into post graduate program in management (PGP) for the academic year 2020-2022. IIM Nagpur admission criteria 2020 will take into account candidate’s score in Common Admission Test (CAT), academic performance, Work experience, and performance in written ability test and personal interview. IIM Nagpur will provide the minimum cut off marks required by the candidates in CAT 2019 both section wise and overall to get shortlisted for WAT and PI rounds. Final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s composite score. Stage 1 - IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2020- Criteria for Eligibility
For the candidates to appear in the first shortlist of IIM Nagpur they have to meet the minimum cutoff requirement, which will be released on the basis of CAT 2019 score. Candidates who will meet the criteria of minimum cutoff both section wise and overall will be shortlisted for further rounds. Refer the table below to know the expected cutoff for CAT 2019. Stage 2 - IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2020- Shortlisting of Candidates for Personal Appearance
Candidates who will meet the above cutoff criteria and will have applies for IIM Nagpur at the time of CAT registration 2019 will receive a mail from IIM Nagpur tentatively in the third week of April 2020. Candidates will have to confirm their presence by the stipulated date to appear for WAT and PI rounds. Candidates will be evaluated on the following basis:

2. Work Experience (WE)
Candidates will be given work experience score on the basis of the work experience of months (as on July 31, 2019). Assigning of score will be as follows:

In diversity candidates will be scored out of 10 on the basis of gender and academic diversity which is as follows:

Calculation of Comprehensive Score (CS)
On the bases of the above criterias, the comprehensive score will be calculated as:
Comprehensive Score = 0.35 X (Total Score of CAT 2019 /*Maximum CAT Total Score * 10) + 0.35*(Past Academic Performance Score) + 0.2* (Work Experience Score) + 0.1*(Diversity Score)
*Maximum CAT score will be among the candidates who are eligible as per stage 1
What after the calculation of Comprehensive Score?
Students who will be shortlisted on the basis of the comprehensive score will have to submit the application form by the stipulated date, which will be tentatively in the last week of April, 2020. Registered candidates will be called for the final stage of the admission process
Stage 3 - IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2020- Final Selection
Shortlisted students will have to appear for the Written Ability Test/ Personal Interview round that will be conducted by IIM Nagpur. Personal interviews are likely to be conducted in May, 2020.
Final score for selection will be calculated as:
Final Score = 0.35 x (Personal Interview Score) + 0.05 x(Written Ability Test Score) + 0.20 x (CAT 2019 Score) + 0.20 x (Past Academic Performance Score) + 0.20 * (Work Experience Score)
Final selected candidates will receive provisional admission letter on their registered email. Students who will accept the offer will have to pay an amount of Rs. 50, 000 which will be adjusted for Term 1.
Withdrawal and Cancellation
Before First Term Registration:
If the candidate doesn’t pay the confirmation fee within the stipulated period, their admission will be cancelled.
However, if candidate has paid the confirmation fee and wishes to withdraw, in that case student will have to send the email to the admission office. The refund will be initiated after deducting the processing fee of Rs. 1000.
If the candidate wishes to withdraw in any term after registration, in that case the amount will be forfeited and the admission will be cancelled.
