CMAT, short for Common Management Admission Test, is a National level Entrance Exam conducted for admission to Management Programmes in the country. This test helps select suitable candidates to take admission in the AICTE affiliated participating institutions. Till 2018, the test was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education, but from 2019 it is conducted by NTA. This exam is a three hours Computer Based Online Test. It evaluates the candidate's ability in various parts such as Quantitative techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. The CMAT’s participating institutions are the ones who will be accepting the CMAT scores.

With an 80 percentile in CMAT, you can get admission in decent Tier-2 MBA colleges.
Good options include Jaipuria Institute, IMT Nagpur/Hyderabad, SDMIMD Mysore, and XIME.
