• The minimum AP ICET qualifying score for candidates belonging to the general category is 25%, which is 50 marks out of 200.

• After considering section A marks, if the score is still the same, then in such case, section B marks will be considered

How to Determine Rank In Case of a Tie

In case more than one candidate scores the same marks, the authorities will apply a tiebreaker to determine the rank of the candidate.

• Section A - If two or more candidates score the same marks, the one who scores more marks in Section A will be ranked higher in the AP ICET merit list.
• Section B - In case the candidate's score is still the same in Section A, then those who score more marks in Section B will be ranked higher.

The minimum marks required to move to the next round of selection is called the cutoff of AP ICET. AP ICET Participating institutes will release separate AP ICET 2025 cutoffs. General category candidates will be required to submit counselling fees of Rs 1200 and Reserved category candidates will be required to submit Rs 600.
