IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2020 - Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has released the admission criteria for academic year 2020-2022 for admission into its 10th MBA batch. The overall expected cutoff for general category has been reduced. The expected batch size for IIM Udaipur 2020-2022 is around 325. Previous year the expected batch size was 260. The admission criteria of IIM Udaipur 2020 consists of the following process:
Shortlisting of students for Personal Appearance (PA)
Conduction of PA inclusive of
Written Ability Test (WAT)
Personal Interview (PI)
Preparation of final merit list.
Stage 1- IIM Udaipur 2020 Admission Criteria - Process of Shortlisting for Personal Appearance (PA)

IIM Udaipur will follow the Common Admission Process (CAP) for shortlisting candidates for Personal Appearance. Candidates will have to meet the criteria of cut off percentile marks based on CAT 2019 score both section wise as well as overall. Cut off percentile for different categories is as follows:
Non-Creamy-Other Backward Class
Differently Abled Person
*VARC- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
DILR- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
QA- Quantitative Aptitude
In comparison to the previous year cutoff, there has been a reduction in the overall cutoff for General category by 5 percentile. Earlier it was 95 percentile. Moreover, there has been addition for the EWS category cutoff. While the cutoff for other categories remains the same as of previous year.

Admission Committee of IIM Udaipur will decide the number of students to be called for personal appearance process and the requirements of the MBA program. The cutoff percentile might be revised if the number of candidates found to be less than desired number of aspirants for WAT-PI round. In case the number of students are less than the section wise score might be decreased (or increased) to the expected number of candidates.
Previous year IIM Ranchi coordinated to adopt CAP process 2019 for all participating IIMs of CAP. the final merit list was prepared on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate in WAT-PI rounds of CAP 2019.
Stage 2- IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2020 - Preparation of Merit List

Score will be given to only those candidates who have worked full time and have completed months. Students must provide valid proof of appointment date, work experience certificate and date of relieving at the time of registration.

Stage 3 - IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2020- Reservation Policy
Admission criteria of IIM Udaipur 2020 will follow the reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of India, which is as follows:

Candidates who will be receiving the offer letter and wishes to accept the offer within the stipulated period, will be required to send their offer acceptance along with the acceptance fee amounting to Rs. 75,000/- . If the candidates wishes to withdraw within the given withdrawal date, then the amount will be refunded after deducting the processing fee of Rs. 1,000. In case, the candidate withdraws after the stipulated date, no refund will be initiated. The amount will be adjusted against the fee of term 1, if the candidate registers.

The Verbal Ability section and Reading Comprehension has 34 Questions, Data interpretation-Logical Reasoning section has 32 MCQ questions and Quantitative Ability has 34 MCQ questions totalling up to 100 questions. Each Question has 3 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.
Quantitative Aptitude covers almost 30% of the CAT question paper. QA can be categorised into Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Advanced Mathematics. Practise chapter by chapter and develop mental calculations. Like practise more of basic summation, subtraction, fractions and tables. Numbers, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Ratio, Proportionality, Time-Distance, Time-Work, Mixtures, Averages, Partnership, Permutation and Combinations, Probability, Set Theory, Progression and Series, Line, Angles, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Polygon, Circles, Ares, Volume, Height and Distance, Coordinate Geometry, Basic Trigonometry are few important topics.
In Verbal Ability session, command on your English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Understanding of the given paragraph are of more importance. Reading English NewsPaper will also help you in your preparation.
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning needs to be practised as much as possible. Comparison of data, Data Analysis, taking clues, interpreting missing data, coming to conclusions and making future projections will be covered under this Category. The questions here are interlinked and so if you get one formula correct, cracking the next few questions will be easy. So it's important to memorise and practise formulae. You should cover topics like Data tables, Data Charts, Bar Diagrams, Pie Charts, Graphs, Data Comparison and Analysis.
IIMs shortlist candidates for the interview stage based on their own criteria, which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interviews. Performance in the CAT examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may additionally use other factors such as the previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs. Now based on your Category, to be shortlisted for an IIM, you should score atleast 85 and more percentile.
Now the IIMs part has been cleared, you need to decide one among MBA in India via CAT or go abroad for higher studies. You cannot be double minded on this. You know your strengths and capabilities and so this should be completely your call.
