IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2019-21 has the following stages:
CAT 2018 exam
Shortlisting candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process.
Conducting PA process – Written Analysis (*WA) and Personal Interview (*PI). Apart from IIM Udaipur, the PA process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP).
Final merit list will be created on the basis of CAT score, PA score and profile score.
Stage 1: IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2019 – Criteria for shortlisting candidates for PA (WAT/PI) Process
The following table shows overall and sectional minimum CAT cutoff percentile (category-wise) for eligibility to PA process.
Category-wise Minimum CAT 2018 Percentile
*VARC – Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
*DILR – Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
*QA – Quantitative Analysis
The Admission Committee of IIM Udaipur will decide the number of candidates who would be called for Personal Appearance (WAT & PI) process on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates were found to be less/more than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI process category-wise, then the overall, as well as section-wise minimum score, would be decreased/increased to get the desired number of candidates.
For Common Admission Process (CAP) 2019, the performance of candidates in WAT, GD and PI of the participating IIMs would only be used for preparing the merit list. The scores of older IIMs would not be considered for merit list.
