The MAH CET 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, 2018. Before proceeding towards filling the MAH CET application form, it is vital to have insights about the MAH CET Eligibility Criteria and Exam Pattern. 


MAH CET 2018 Eligibility: Knowing about the eligibility criteria is the most important aspect before you apply for an exam. MAH CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria is applicable for the upcoming Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET). As per the MAH CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria proposed by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, candidates should be graduates in any discipline from any institute or university recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Candidates, who belong to the backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only, should have 45 percent marks in aggregate.

How to fill MAH CET 2018 Application Form - Step by step guide

The procedure will be entirely online for the candidates to register for the exam. Let’s have a detailed knowledge of How to Fill MAH CET Application Form 2018. The form is divided into following sections:

  • Basic info - This is the registration form, where aspirants have to fill basic details like name and contact details.
  • Photo & Signature - Candidates have to upload their recent scanned passport size photograph and signature in the given format and dimensions.
  • Details - This part is again divided into basic details, personal details and application fee & bank details. While the basic details include candidate category, personal details seek for parents' name, address, preferred exam cities, education details etc.
  • Preview - This page gives the glimpse of entered details. Applicants have to check the information carefully and correct in case of wrong entry.
  • Fee Payment - The final step of MAH CET application form filling is to pay the application fee in online mode.

Basic Info


The first step is to register for MAH CET through a valid email address and mobile number. After filling up the registration form, DTE will mail the login credentials to the candidates. In the Basic Info form, applicants have to enter personal information such as name, mobile number and email id.

MAH CET 2018 Application Form




Under the Details section, candidates have to enter information regarding Basic, Personal and Educational Qualification. Under the Basic detail, they have to enter their social category, physical disability (if applicable), region, religion, domicile, Aadhaar Card number, exam centre preference and home state. Note: Aadhaar Card is not mandatory in order to apply for MAH CET 2018.

Under Personal Details section, candidates' date of birth, parents' name and full address has to be entered.

Under the Application Fee/Intimation Charges, where the final payable amount will be displayed. Applicants have to also enter their Bank Account details.

In the final stage of the Details, candidates have to enter their Bachelor's Degree details including stream and aggregate percentage or equivalent CGPA.

Before proceeding towards payment, candidates have to preview the details entered. In case of any error, they can rectify it before paying the application fee of Rs. 1000 for General category candidates and Rs. 800 for reserved category candidates.
