Overall, the IPMAT Rohtak 2026 exam was rated moderate in difficulty level by most candidates. The Quant section was arithmetic-heavy and calculation-intensive, while the VARC section was comparatively difficult due to tricky verbal ability questions. Logical Reasoning was considered manageable with direct questions from familiar topics.
The Quantitative Ability section in IPMAT Rohtak 2026 was rated easy to moderate overall. According to student feedback, the section was heavily arithmetic-oriented and consisted mainly of direct, formula-based, and calculation-driven questions. Students who had practiced Arithmetic thoroughly found the section highly manageable.
A major portion of the paper came from Time-Speed-Distance topics, especially Boats and Streams, along with questions from Simple Interest, Percentages, Partnership, Profit & Loss, and Mixtures. Surprisingly, uncommon topics such as Shares & Stocks and Banker's Discount also appeared in the examination, catching many students off guard.
Faculty analysis suggested that more than 50% of the Quant section was dominated by Arithmetic topics. Geometry and Mensuration had limited representation, while Modern Mathematics appeared only in isolated questions from Probability and Permutation & Combination.
Boats and Streams emerged as the highest-weightage topic.
Questions were largely direct and solvable through standard formulas.
Strong mental calculation ability significantly improved speed.
A Banker's Discount question appeared unexpectedly, which students generally do not prepare for in IPMAT Rohtak.
Simplification questions were extremely easy and highly scoring.
A few students reported doubtful options in one Average-based question and one Inequality question.

The Verbal Ability section in IPMAT Rohtak 2026 was rated moderate to difficult overall and emerged as the most surprising section of the paper. Although the section initially appeared easy, students later realized that the answer choices were extremely close and confusing, making accuracy difficult.
The Reading Comprehension passages were moderate in length and mostly manageable. One RC passage was based on the US-Iran topic and required careful interpretation and contextual understanding. While grammar questions were direct and easy, vocabulary-based questions, analogies, and sentence correction proved significantly more challenging.
A surprising development this year was the presence of analogy questions that appeared partially general-awareness based. This unusual inclusion made the section feel experimental and unpredictable to many candidates.
