The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) exam is a state level eligibility test of the Govt. Of W.B. conducted by the MAKAUTWB. This test is held once a year on behalf of the State Government as per the guidelines framed by AICTE. Colleges/Institutes can admit students from any one of the mentioned national level entrance examination (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT) and the state level test (JEMAT) OR only from one national level test OR only from the state level test. This is stated as per the Ministry of HRD guidelines. According to the exam pattern of JEMAT 2018, the test will be an offline (paper-based) exam based on OMR pattern. The questions would be MCQs from three sections, namely, English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.
