JEMAT Exam 2024: Admit Card Released, Result, Mock Test, Syllabus & Pattern

MAKAUT, West Bengal issued the JEMAT admit card in online mode on June 25. The JEMAT admit card 2024 is available to candidates who successfully submit the online application form within the stipulated deadline. 

Test takers need to produce the admit card of JEMAT on the test day; as candidates are not allowed to take the test without the admit card. Candidates will have to view and download the admit card from the JEMAT web account by entering their Registration number and Password.

The JEMAT 2024 admit card will have the following information-

• Date of Exam
• Venue of Exam
• Time of Exam
• General Instructions

MAKAUT specified the JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria and all aspirants are required to meet the requirements to be able to appear in the JEMAT exam 2024. As per the JEMAT 2024 eligibility, the candidate should be a-

• Citizen of India 
• Completed AICTE-approved regular Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture/Medical/Dental/Agriculture

OR

• A final year student of the aforementioned programmes or equivalent. The final year aspirants will be granted provisional admission; however, will need to submit their final mark-sheet before the declared deadline.
• Candidates who have completed any of the professional programmes from a recognised university/institute must fulfill the JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria as well.
• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD will be executed as per the state government rules and regulations.

MAKAUT released JEMAT 2024 (Phase 1) application form in online mode on June 5. Eligible candidates can fill out the JEMAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website till June 22. Aspiring candidates need to  create a web account and then fill out the application form for JEMAT 2024.

How to fill out JEMAT Application Form 2024?

All eligible candidates are expected to provide correct details as false information may result in the cancellation of the particular application form.

• Candidates need to provide their personal details, namely, Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Person with Disability (PwD), Educational Qualification, valid E-mail ID, Mobile Number, Communication Address, Declaration, etc. On JEMAT 2024 application submission, candidates would be asked to re-check the entered details do the needful corrections, if required, and submit the application form.
• Photo and signature verification: The uploaded image file of both photo and signature should be in .JPG or .JPEG or .PNG format. There will be two separate options for uploading candidates' photos and signatures. They have to click on the tab “Upload Photograph and Signature.”
• JEMAT application forms will not be accepted without the specified photograph and signature of the applicant.
• Post-filling the online application form of JEMAT, candidates will be asked to furnish a declaration.
• After submitting the form, the required physical documents need to be sent to the University at the address provided below-

According to the exam pattern of JEMAT 2024, it is an online exam test of one hour comprising of 50 questions and 100 marks. As per the JEMAT 2024 exam pattern, it consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options to choose from. There are three sections, namely English (40 questions), Mathematics (40 questions), and Logical Reasoning (20 questions). 

The scoring scheme of JEMAT 2024 is pretty simple. +2 for each correct answer choice and a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

The result of the JEMAT 2024 will be declared by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, in online mode. Candidates are then shortlisted for further rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) based on results. The list of shortlisted candidates is published on the JEMAT official website.

What will the JEMAT 2024 result contain?

• The online JEMAT 2024 scorecard will show the marks secured by a test taker in the examination along with his/her obtained rank.
• Test takers should download the JEMAT scorecard, then take prints of the result and keep it safe until the final admission.
