JEMAT Exam 2026: Exam Date, Application Form, Mock Test, Syllabus & Pattern, Admit Card, Result

MAKAUT, West Bengal, will issue the JEMAT admit card in online mode, most likely in June 2026. The JEMAT admit card 2026 will be available for the candidates who have successfully submitted the online application form within the stipulated deadline. 

Test takers need to produce the admit card of JEMAT on the test day, as candidates are not allowed to take the test without the admit card. Candidates will have to view and download the admit card from the JEMAT web account by entering their Registration number and Password.

MAKAUT will specify the JEMAT 2026 eligibility criteria on the website soon. All aspirants will be required to meet the requirements to be able to appear in the JEMAT exam 2026. As per the expected JEMAT 2026 eligibility, the candidate should be a-

• Citizen of India 
• Completed AICTE-approved regular Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture/Medical/Dental/Agriculture

OR

• A final-year student of the aforementioned programmes or equivalent. The final-year aspirants will be granted provisional admission; however, they will need to submit their final mark sheet before the declared deadline.
• Candidates who have completed any of the professional programmes from a recognised university/institute must fulfil the JEMAT 2026 eligibility criteria as well.
• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD will be executed as per the state government rules and regulations.

MAKAUT wil likely release the JEMAT 2026 (Phase 1) application form in online mode in May 2026. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the JEMAT 2026 application form by visiting the official website by June 2026, expectedly. Aspiring candidates need to create a web account and then fill out the application form for JEMAT 2026.

How to fill out JEMAT Application Form 2026?

All eligible candidates are expected to provide correct details as false information may result in the cancellation of the particular application form.

• Candidates need to provide their personal details, namely, Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Person with Disability (PwD), Educational Qualification, valid E-mail ID, Mobile Number, Communication Address, Declaration, etc. On JEMAT 2026 application submission, candidates would be asked to re-check the entered details, do the needful corrections, if required, and submit the application form.
• Photo and signature verification: The uploaded image file of both photo and signature should be in .JPG or .JPEG or .PNG format. There will be two separate options for uploading candidates' photos and signatures. They have to click on the tab “Upload Photograph and Signature.”
• JEMAT application forms will not be accepted without the specified photograph and signature of the applicant.
• Post-filling the online application form of JEMAT, candidates will be asked to furnish a declaration.
• After submitting the form, the required physical documents need to be sent to the University at the address provided below-

According to the exam pattern of JEMAT 2026, it is an online exam test of one hour comprising 50 questions and 100 marks. As per the JEMAT 2026 exam pattern, it consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options to choose from. There are three sections, namely English (40 questions), Mathematics (40 questions), and Logical Reasoning (20 questions). 

The marking scheme of JEMAT 2026 is pretty simple. +2 for each correct answer choice and a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

The result of the JEMAT 2026 will be declared by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, in online mode. Candidates are then shortlisted for further rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) based on results. The list of shortlisted candidates is published on the JEMAT official website.

What will the JEMAT 2026 result contain?

• The online JEMAT 2026 scorecard will show the marks secured by a test taker in the examination along with his/her obtained rank.
• Test takers should download the JEMAT scorecard, then take prints of the result and keep it safe until the final admission.
