FMS Delhi Summer Placement Report for batch of 2016
The Faculty management of Studies (FMS) Delhi conducted its Summer Placements for the batch of 2016. A total of 219 students got placed across divisions and roles offered by 87 companies. This season 36 first-time recruiters visited the campus and hired students for summer internships

Finance & Marketing being the most preferred and among the top recruiter division, Consulting and General Management was also preferred by the students. The summer placements saw participation of Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley and IDG Ventures, and a VC firm. Morgan Stanley offered their front end Investment Banking role only to three campuses in India, FMS being one of them.

The highest domestic stipend on offer was INR 2 lakhs per month whereas the highest international stipend on offer was 500 Kuwaiti Dinar. The median stipend was INR 60000 per month.
Domain Wise Split up of Roles Offered
Consulting and General Management
Numerous offers were made in a variety of sectors with Tata Administrative Services being the largest recruiter, picked up 7students. They include Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries Limited, RPG and Airtel. RPG hired summer interns from FMS for the first time.
Some of the Consulting/General Management companies at the Campus for the process were:
Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte USI, Aon Hewitt, Tata Administrative Services, CapGemini Consulting, Avalon Consulting, Reliance Industries Limited, RPG, Synergy Consulting, Cognizant, Business Consulting, PwC, Airtel, Mahindra and Mahindra, Everest Consulting, Deloitte India and others.
FMS continues to maintain its position as a stronghold for the domain of Sales and Marketing. This year’s process saw the offers in the Marketing domain spread across a variety of sectors. A number of E-commerce companies - Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, InfoEdge - visited FMS and hired for their Marketing roles.
HT Media, Times OOH, Multi Screen Media (Previously Sony Entertainment Television) and Star represented the Media and Entertainment sector while Adobe, Microsoft and Vodafone were representing the Telecom and Technology sector. FMS students also secured offers through National Level competitions conducted by Godrej and SAB Miller. Consumer banking/Marketing profiles were offered by Citibank, HSBC, Axis Bank and American Express.
Nearly one-fourth of all the companies participated accounted for Banking and Finance sector. A lot of niche profiles were offered during this year’s process such as roles in front end investment banking and financial markets. Corporate finance profiles were offered by Coca-Cola, Philips, Vodafone and Mars.
FMS also secured the participation of legacy banks – Citibank, Standard Chartered and HSBC. Deutsche Bank was the largest recruiter in the BFSI sector. GE also recruited students for their FMP role
Amazon visited he campus and recruited students for summer internships for roles in – Account Management, Product Management, Category Management, Business Development, Marketing and Operations. Snapdeal opened 8 profiles for the students of FMS. Flipkart also recruited a number of students from FMS. Operations roles were also offered by Coca-Cola Company, Perfetti, Philips and Vodafone.

10th 74% , 12th 54% , BBA grad 84% Cat 16.25 percentile, caste SC . Is there any chances of getting into FMS BHU?
firstly i would like to congratulations you for scoring good marks in your study. And also congratulations for clearing CAT exam.
If you have secured the minimum cutoff of BHU’s FMS will be called for the admission process of the colleges which includes the GD/PI rounds.
The final selection of the candidates is made upon the performance of the candidates in CAT 2020 and the admission rounds. Here the academic record of the candidates is also considered.
Hence there is a chance of getting into FMS BHU .

how to fill cat form for fms college for mba
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that FMS MBA will release its application form soon. You can check on official website of FMS regularly as FMS has announced the release of forms in October month only. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have secured atleast 50 percent marks in graduation. Reserve category students can have 45 percent.

Let me make one thing clear. The only thing that you can stop you from getting admission in these reputated institutions is the same who can get you admission. It is you.
Always remember your will power is the one standing between you and your admission in these colleges.
Now you have already appeared for 12th and youu cannot change that. What you can change is your tenacity and your urge to succeed.
Now I am not a motivational speaker, but you need to realize that if you preapre well and score high marks and acheive high rank, you will definitely get admission in these colleges.

Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi, offers admission to its MBA program based on the CAT score. The Only Way to get access to FMS, Delhi for MBA Program, is through the CAT examination. There is no other way to get admission in the college.

Hi, I am appearing for cat 2020, When should i apply for FMS , whether after cat exam or before the cat exam in October to November?
As per your query, FMS Delhi opens the online portal for registration from october and it closes in november . You have to register for the same before CAT Exam that is on 29th Nov.
The guidelines for registration are:
- Candidates with minimum 50% marks at the graduation level (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/ PWD/CW: 45% as per the University rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
Steps to follow for registration:
- Create your Login
- Verify your Email ID
- Fill the Online Application Form
- Upload the Required Scanned documents
- Pay the Application Fee
- Things to take care : You will need to submit subjective responses (essays) for 5 questions . You will need a couple of hours to finish the application process.
