About B-MAT 2024

B-MAT 2024 result for vacant seats has been declared on June 20, 2024. Candidates can check out the BMAT exam result in online mode at bvuniversity.edu.in. The BMAT exam 2024 (Against Vacant Seats) was conducted on June 16. Bharati Vidyapeeth Management Aptitude Test or B-MAT 2024 is the entrance examination conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune for admission to MBA (Dual Specialization) and MBA (HR) in various colleges affiliated to the University. B-MAT 2024 counselling procedure will be conducted at various test centres from June 25. 

The basic BVP BMAT eligibility criteria are that a candidate must be a graduate with a minimum 50% aggregate in any subject from a recognized university. The eligibility criteria are 45% aggregate for SC/ST candidates. The application fee of BMAT is Rs. 1,700. BVP BMAT 2024 is conducted as a computer based test. It is mandatory to appear for the BMAT 2024 mock test to appear for the final B-MAT entrance exam. As per the BMAT exam pattern, the exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions where one mark is awarded for a correct answer and there is no negative marking.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University announced the results for the B-MAT exam (Vacant seats) on its official website in online mode on June 20. Candidates can check their BMAT 2024 results by entering their email id and mobile number at the official website.

The result of B-MAT 2024 has been released in the form of merit list for all the participating institutes which are affiliated with Bharatiya Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). The BMAT 2024 merit list will be released on the official website of the university as well as all the Institutes of Management of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). 

B-MAT 2024 merit list is based on the 250 marks. The BMAT merit list will include a BMAT written test of 200 marks along with the 50 marks of the GD and PI scored by the candidate in the B-MAT 2024. The authorities prepare a separate merit list of B-MAT 2024 for the Regular category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/Institutional Quota Merit category.

How to check the BMAT Result 2024

  • Firstly, visit the official website of BMAT 2024- bvuniversity.edu.in.
  • Now, candidates shall find and click the link- “BMAT result” from the notification panel.
  • Candidates will be redirected to the result page. Now, enter your registered mail id and mobile number.
  • Now, click the login button.
  • Finally, candidates shall check the appropriate BMAT 2024 exam result displayed on the screen.

At the time of seeking admission with BMAT 2024 scores, students will be provisionally admitted to the programme subject to the production of the provisional eligibility certificate from the university:

  • The B-MAT exam eligibility criteria point that the student must be a graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any discipline having a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks from any recognized University. As far as the case of SC/ ST is considered, the minimum aggregate is reduced to 45 percent. Students who are in the terminal year of their degree can also apply for B-MAT 2024.
  • Students should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). The students who have done their Graduation on a part-time or one-time sitting basis or on a two-year basis are not eligible.
  • Students who have pursued their graduation in any medium other than English must complete an orientation course in English to the satisfaction of the institute.
  • BMAT eligibility for Indian students also suggests that the students' nationality should be Indian.

Note- Candidates who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply for BMAT 2024 provided their admission will be on a provisional basis till the time all the necessary documents are submitted by the time of August, 2024. If the students fail to submit the documents before the prescribed period, then their admission will stand cancelled.

Candidates who are willing to apply for BMAT, will have to fill out the BMAT application form 2024 and make the payment of the entrance fee, using net banking or a credit/debit card. The authorities did not consider the change in any information provided in the BMAT application form 2024. Hence, the candidate must ensure that all the information provided during the online application process are correct. B-MAT 2024 registration can be done by visiting the official website of the university.

Step 1: New Registration

The first step in B-MAT registration 2024 will be to sign up as a new user. Candidates need to complete the signup process on the official website of Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University as new users. 

  • Go to the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth University.
  • Click on the tab indicating 'Apply for Online Admissions' 
  • Now, candidates shall click the 'Apply' link flashing against the desired course.
  • Register yourself as a new user.
  • On successful registration, a login ID and password will be generated which must be saved for future use.

Step 2: B-MAT application form filling

  • After successful registration, candidates must log in using their login credentials.
  • Provide all the required details such as name, date of birth, gender, address, etc.
  • Then, upload all the relevant documents such as the candidate's photograph and signatures.
  • Now, click the 'Submit' button.

Step 3: Application fee payment

  • Candidates shall now pay an application fee of Rs. 1,700 (including GST) online. B-MAT application form 2024 fee can only be paid online using either a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

The B-MAT 2024 exam pattern is an important part to be analysed for cracking this entrance examination of 250 marks. The BVP BMAT exam will consist of two parts:

  • Part A - Written examination of 200 marks;
  • Part B - Group Discussion and Personal Interview of 30 and 20 marks respectively.

B-MAT 2024 Syllabus

B-MAT 2024 Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Management Aptitude Test 2024

The BMAT-2024 exam will be held in computer centre-based test modes both. The mock test of BMAT 2024 is conducted in online mode. It may be compulsory for the candidates appearing in BMAT 2024 to attend the BMAT mock test. It will also provide an insight into the exam pattern, timings and weaknesses of the candidates to pass this exam with flying colours.

BVP B-MAT 2024 admit card will be available on the official website. Candidates who applied for BMAT 2024 can able to download and print a copy of the B-MAT 2024 admit card. The BMAT admit card will have various information such as the examination centre allocated, details of candidates and so on. Candidates who will be appearing in  B-MAT 2024 exam will have the choice of opting either the computer center-based entrance test or the remote proctored home-based online entrance test.

Candidates who will be taking the computer center-based entrance test will be provided with all the details about the test centre on their BMAT 2024 admit card. On the day of the BMAT examination, the candidates are expected to appear at least half an hour early with the BMAT 2024 admit card along with the authorized government photo ID.

Step 1- Go to the official website- bvuniversity.edu.in.
Step 2- Now, enter the login ID and password.
Step 3- Next, the screen will display the BMAT admit card 2024.
Step 4- Candidates shall check for the details mentioned on the admit card of B-MAT 2024.
Step 5- Then, download the B-MAT admit card and take multiple prints of the same for future reference.

BMAT 2024- Exam Day Instructions For Candidates

  • Candidate's application number/ roll number will be used as the user id and password that will be provided on the B-MAT admit card 2024.
  • The duration of the B-MAT exam will be two and half hours (150 minutes).
  • All questions of the BMAT exam will be compulsory for the candidates.
  • The screen will display one question at a time in the exam. To proceed to the next question, the candidate must click on the tab ‘Next Question’, and to move back he/she must click on the tab ‘Previous Question’.
  • Students can check the time left in the BMAT exam. The remaining time will be available on the top right side of the computer screen.
  • In case the candidate has opted for the wrong answer in any exam question, he/she can unmark it by clicking on the tab ‘erase’.
  • Students can answer questions in any order and there is no sectional time limit in BMAT 2024.
  • Questions that are attempted or unattempted will be shown on the right side of the screen at the time of BMAT exam.
  • Click on the tab ‘tag’ to put an answer/question on review.
  • Colour palette on the screen indicates the following:
    • Green- Question is answered
    • Yellow- Question not answered and for review
    • Purple- Question is answered but on review
    • White- Question not answered

The number of attempted and unattempted questions will be given at the end of the examination.

Candidates who will have qualified for the BMAT 2024 exam will be invited for the counselling process of BVP BMAT which is scheduled to be held on June 25. Candidates will be offered a seat in the Institute of his/her choice and course as per the combined merit list prepared by the University for all the institutes and all the courses. Candidates will be responsible to check their own merit number and appear accordingly for the B-MAT 2024 counselling at the center of their choice. 

The counselling for B-MAT 2024 will be held at the test centres available in the information booklet. Candidates who have qualified for the BVP BMAT 2024 but failed to report for BMAT counselling on the given date and time will result in the cancellation of their claim to the seat. Students must note that the flashing of their name in the B-MAT 2024 merit list does not conclude admission of the candidate in the University. Admission of the candidate will depend upon the factors such as the availability of seats for the particular programme and their choice of Institute. Candidates will have to provide various documents in the BMAT counselling. After the verifications of documents, candidates will be offered admission according to their rank and availability of seats.

Yes, you are eligible for the BMAT, i.e. the BioMedical Admission Test as you have opted for the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). But you can only be eligible for this test if you pass the 12th standard with the same Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with Mathematics. So, you can give the BMAT exam after completion of your 12th standard.

1. Locate a testing facility

First, check with the Exams Officer at your school/college to see if they are registered to administer our admissions tests. If they are, move on to the next stage.

If this is not the case, you have two options:

Your school may find out if it is eligible to become a test centre. The deadline for doing so is September 30, 2021.

You can choose another location from our global network of testing facilities.


2. Request that the Exams Officer register you for the test.

To register for the test, you must supply the following information:

sensitive information such as your name and birth date UCAS number (those applying to UK universities only)

the titles of the courses/universities to which you are applying (those applying to UK universities only)

If you require modified question papers or other Access Arrangements, such as extra time, you must provide medical proof.

Whether you are taking the BMAT – November on a computer (except in Singapore and Thailand), please clarify whether your school or test centre will offer a computer or if you must bring your own.

Please keep in mind that the deadline for applying for amended papers is September 30, 2021. All additional Access Arrangements must be applied for by October 15, 2021.


3. Obtain your candidate registration number as evidence of registration.

Make sure you receive your candidate entry number from your Exams Officer as confirmation that you are enrolled for the test. Your entry number will begin with a B and will be followed by five numbers.


4. Prepare for the BMAT
