IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2020-22: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow released the admission criteria of the academic year 2020-22. IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2020 takes into consideration components like CAT score, performance in Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), work experience and academic record for admission into Postgraduate Programme in Management (PGPM). The admission process of IIM Lucknow consists of a two-step process. The first step is to get shortlisted on the basis of CAT percentile. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for PI and WAT rounds. In the second step, the final merit list is prepared on the basis of the composite score of the candidate which includes gender diversity, academic diversity, work experience and so forth. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2019 score, previous academic performance, and other criteria as mentioned below. For PGP-SM, minimum work experience of 24 months is an added eligibility criterion.

Only the Candidates obtaining the above-mentioned minimum percentile in each category in CAT 2019 will only be considered for calculation of their composite score in Stage 2 on the basis of several factors as described below the table.

Stage 4: Scheduling for WAT-PI
The candidates who qualify the mentioned criteria in stages 1 and 2, shall be called for the WAT-PI process. Such candidates shall be required to fill-in and submit the personal data form online. The candidates, who fail to submit their personal data forms within the prescribed time limit, will not be allowed in the WAT-PI process.
A candidate’s final score for selection in PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM programme for the batch 2020-22 will be calculated on the basis of the assigned weights as given in the table:

The minimum requirement for getting a pass in Personal Interviews (PI) is 12 out of 40 marks. Names of candidates who do not qualify in PI will not participate in the final merit list.
Final preference on the academic category that an academic program will be classified into rests with the Admissions Committee of IIM-Lucknow.

As you have mentioned that you belong to SC category, you should have a minimum of 60 percent and above to make it into any of the above mentioned colleges. Therefore make sure to get this percent. The course that you have already persued might not add up as your advantage since it is not related to the field you are applying.

You are having fair chances of getting a good IIM.
You past score is not going to matter that much. Now you have to appear in CAT exam and after that if you qualify that you will be having a written ability test then after personal interview. This procedure makes your merit so try to score as much as you can.
