The CMAT score is the sum of the marks obtained by the candidate in each section of the CMAT question paper. Candidates are given scores in each section separately, which are then added to the CMAT total score (out of 400).
CMAT 2026 score will be calculated by assigning marks to the students according to their answers to the questions. The marking scheme of CMAT is given below:
For each correct answer, 4 marks will be given
For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted
There is no negative marking for unanswered questions
For example, in the Logical Reasoning sections, you attempted 16 questions. Out of which 10 questions were answered correctly and 6 questions were answered incorrectly. Then your CMAT score for the LR section will be (10*4)-6=34.

SIMSREE, Mumbai – Fee around Rs. 1.3–1.4 lakh for 2 years. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, MAT, ATMA. Cutoff is very high, usually 99+ percentile in CAT/CMAT.
PUMBA (Dept. of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University) – Fee around Rs. 1.2–1.3 lakh. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, ATMA. Cutoff approx. 75+ percentile in CAT, 90–95+ percentile in CMAT, high scores in MAH-CET.
