Candidates who attended the CMAT 2026 can download the CMAT scorecard from the official website. Based on the CMAT percentile, candidates can shortlist the MBA colleges they wish to go to and then check out their MBA admission criteria and selection process. Candidates must keep visiting and tracking the respective MBA colleges and fill out the registration form as soon as their application window opens.
After filling out the application form, candidates will have to appear for the MBA admission process. MBA colleges will determine the CMAT cutoff and shortlist candidates accordingly. Shortlisted candidates will be called by colleges to participate in the MBA admission rounds. The MBA admission selection rounds comprise the Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will be given final admission based on their performance in these rounds.

With an 80 percentile in CMAT, you can get admission in decent Tier-2 MBA colleges.
Good options include Jaipuria Institute, IMT Nagpur/Hyderabad, SDMIMD Mysore, and XIME.
Top IIMs are not possible, but these colleges offer reasonable placements and exposure.
