MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2020

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will prescribe the eligibility criteria for MAH CET 2020. Candidates must meet the following parameters before applying for MAH CET 2020.

  • Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Required Marks: General candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate and those who belongs to reserve category/ OBC/ PWD must have obtained 45% marks in aggregate.

  • Those candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for MAH CET 2020.

MAH CET Application Form 2020

MAH CET 2020 online registration will begin from the third week of January 2020. Applicants can register till the third week of February 2020. MAH CET 2020 application form will be available in online mode on official website. Before filling MAH CET online application form candidates need to register first by entering a valid email ID and generate a unique password. After registration, candidates need to re-login and fill out the application form. Candidates need to enter their academic and personal details.While filling out the application form of MAH CET 2020, candidates will have to upload the scanned documents and pay the application fee.

Steps to fill MAH CET Application Form 2020

  • Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the ‘New Registration’ link.

  • Step 2: Now candidates need to re-login with user ID and password and provide all personal and educational details.

  • Step 3: Candidates need to upload scanned copy of photograph and signature with the required format and submit the application form.

  • Step 4: Before final submission candidates can edit their MAH CET 2020 application form after that no changes will be allowed.

  • Step 5: Pay the amount of application fee by using a credit or debit card.

  • Step 6: Candidates have to take a print of their application form for future use.

MAH CET Exam Pattern 2020

MAH CET 2020 will conduct by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra in online mode. As per MAH CET exam pattern, there will be a total of 200 multiple choice questions which are distributed into five sections. The total time duration of MAH CET exam is two and a half hours (150 minutes). Candidates will get one mark for every right answer and negative marking scheme is not applicable which means no mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. MAH CET Syllabus 2020

MAH CET 2020 exam syllabus is divided into four sections. MAH CET 2020 section-wise syllabus provided below.

  • Logical and Abstract Reasoning: Through this section authorities will know the decision making power of a candidate. Questions will be asked from relationship and puzzles.

  • Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension: To check the reading ability of a candidates and questions will be asked from Comprehension, Adjective, Verb, Synonym, Antonym, Errors, One word etc.

  • Quantitative Aptitude: Questions will be asked from Number System, Accuracy, Time and Work, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Speed and Distance, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest etc.

MAH CET Admit Card 2020

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release MAH CET 2020 admit card tentatively in the fourth week of February 2020. Before downloading MAH CET admit card 2020 candidates need to login to the official website by their credentials. Applicants can download MAT CET 2020 hall ticket till the day of the exam. The authorities will not send the hard copy of admit card to any of the candidate. Without admit card and at least one ID proof candidate are not allowed to appear in MAH CET 2020.

MAH CET Answer Key 2020

Answer key of MAH CET 2020 exam will tentatively release in the fourth week of March 2020. Candidates can evaluate their performance their performance which they written in MAH CET 2020. Answer key of MAH CET will be uploaded by the authorities on the official website. Candidates can download set wise MAH CET 2020 answer key by using their paper code. If candidates find any kind of discrepancy in MAH CET 2020 answer key, they can raise objection against it.

MAH CET Percentile Predictor

Participating institute will release category wise cut off list. Individual cut off marks will release by various colleges which accepts MAH CET 2020 score. Cut off list will be prepared on the basis of following parameters including difficulty level of the exam, the number of qualifying candidates, the number of available seats in colleges, number of test takers, reservation criteria etc. Those candidates who are able to secure cut off marks as prescribed by participating institutes will get admission into MBA programme.

Yes, of course they can correct their mistake by sending a letter to the authority, MHT-CET Mumbai. However, the mentioned letter must be submitted before the declaration of MAH CET result and should be accomplished by SSC mark sheet of the candidate.

Question: How to retrieve a forgotten password I created during the process of registration?


If a candidate forget their created password, then they can retrieve the same. From the official website of MAH CET, click on ‘Forgot Password’ tab. Here, candidates need to enter certain details like MAH CET application number, date of birth and mother’s first name as filled at the time of registration. Now system will validate the candidates registered data. After matching required entries, system will allow to create a new password.

Question: If a candidate belong to ST category of Madhya Pradesh, will they get the reservation benefit of ST category candidate?


No, they are not eligible for the reservation. The reservation benefit will be offered to the backward class candidates of Maharashtra state only.

Question: I come from OBC-creamy layer family of Maharashtra and have the caste certificate as well. Shall I get the benefit of OBC category?


No, you are not eligible for availing the OBC reservation. The OBC category candidates of Maharashtra will have to produce a valid NCL upto 31st March 2020 at the time of document verification round. Otherwise, they will be treated as General category candidates for granting admission.

hello I am a distance learning student from Mumbai university can I participate in mah-cet will there be any kind of problem because the results of distance learning exams usually come late as compared to the regular exams.

you will be eligible if your results comes out before the admission process of 2019-2020. however some colleges of mba may not accept distance learning bachelor courses. you can check the colleges website for further information.

Eligibility criteria for MAH CET MBA is candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate while there's relaxation provided in case of reserved categories, they need merely 45%.As you stated you belong to reserved category, you need 45% aggregate in graduation to be eligible for MAH CET MBA.

yes you may apply for Maharastra CET exam. The basic eligibility criteria is Candidates must have a bachelors’ degree in any discipline from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks, and at least 45% in case of sc/ st candidates .  Final year students can also apply.
