MAH CET 2018 - The result of MAH CET 2018 has been announced on March 19. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducted MAH CET 2018 on March 10 and 11 in multiple slots. The registration process for Common Admission Process (CAP) through MAH CET 2018 has commenced from June 7 and will continue until Thursday, June 21, 2018. The final merit list for Maharashtra/All India/J&K migrant candidates will be declared on June 26, 2018. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) is held once a year for admission to full-time Post Graduate Degree Courses in Management (MBA/MMS) in various institutes in Maharashtra. Around 40,000 seats are usually offered admission in the B-schools across Maharashtra state on the basis of MAH CET scores.
This year, a record number of nearly 1.06 lakh students applied for the for the Maharashtra-common entrance test (MAH CET) for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) courses, out of which around 98,602 candidates appeared for the test. The top score of 165 out of 200 in the MAH CET Exam 2018 was secured by Divya Govardhan Biyani. The topper has secured 99.99 percentile in the CET. The application form was available from January 22 to February 16, 2018. Candidates who had successfully filled the application form could download the admit card from February 28, 2018. The result for the MAH CET 2018 exam has been announced on March 19, 2018. The MAH CET 2018 result contains the candidates' secured Rank, Scores and Percentiles. Candidates will be able to check their result by entering into the official website and then by login using the MAH CET 2018 Registration Number and Date of Birth in (DD/MM/YY) format. The provisional merit list of MAH MBA/MMS 2018 will be declared during the first week of June 2018. According to last year’s statistics, out of 200 marks, the highest score that was obtained was 145. On the other hand, as many as 49 candidates have managed to score zero in the exam. Only qualifying candidates who will receive their results as per the cutoff/merit will be allowed to appear in the counselling rounds. After the completion of the counselling rounds, the final merit list will be declared in the second week of June 2018.
The officials, DTE, will release MAH CET 2018 cutoff after the announcement of result. It is on the basis of MAH CET 2018 cut off, that students will be called for counselling rounds. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks or percentile which candidates must secure in order to qualify for counselling rounds. After the declaration of the final results of the MAH CET 2018, the officials has conducted Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds from June 7, 2018. According to the marks obtained by the candidates, their ranks are determined and are allotted to respective institutes/colleges. On completion of the MAH CET 2018 counselling rounds / CAP rounds, the final list of selected candidates will be announced on June 26, 2018.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, the exam conducting body of MAH CET has not released the answer key until date. The reason behind this decision is the online mode of exam. MAH CET answer key 2018 can be made available only when it will be released by DTE.
All institutes/colleges that are affiliated with DTE select students on the basis of their MAH CET 2018 scores. Until last year, the total number of participating institutes were more than hundred. According to the exam analysis of MAH CET 2018, by experts from IMS Learning, the overall difficulty level of the exam was lower than the previous year's exam with marginally tougher Abstract section. QA section was ranging from easy to moderate on difficulty scale while VARC was slightly difficult than the previous year. The Logical Reasoning section consisted of pretty difficult arrangement based sets. The Abstract Reasoning section had easy to moderate questions. The Quantitative Aptitude section had a mix moderate level DI sets and also easy to moderate questions. Finally, the Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension section consisted of questions at lower levels of difficulty in comparison to the same section in MAH CET 2017. The admit card of MAH CET 2018 was available from February 28, 2018, onwards. Candidates, who had successfully registered for the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2018 could use their login details to download their admit card or the hall ticket. All candidates are required to take a printout of the MAH CET 2018 admit card and carry it on the day of the test. No hall tickets or admit cards were sent by courier or post.
DTE released the exam pattern of MAH CET 2018 along with the notification. According to the exam pattern of MAH CET 2018, the exam includes 200 MCQs (Five options) from four sections, which candidates have to answer online. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes or two and a half hours. According to the marking scheme, there will be one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking in the paper.

MAH CET 2018 syllabus is designed by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The questions are divided into three sections, namely
Logical / Abstract Reasoning – This section includes questions to measure the thinking ability and accuracy of candidates. The test may have questions from figures, diagrams, verbal reasoning, etc.
Quantitative Aptitude – This section includes questions to analyse the speed and accuracy of candidates with numbers and numerical calculations. The section also includes different arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, quantitative reasoning, percentage, interpretation of tables, charts, common graphs etc.
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension – This section includes reading passages followed by related questions to test the student’s comprehension skills. Questions on grammar, sentence completion, vocabulary, antonyms, comprehension of passages, synonyms, etc are a part of this section as well.

The eligibility criteria of MAH CET 2018 has been formulated by DTE Maharashtra and the same has been described below-
Aspirants applying for the MAH CET 2018 need to be a graduate or have acquired an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
General category candidates must have 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and reserved category candidates must obtain 45 percent in their undergraduate studies.
Students, who are in their final year of graduation, can apply for the examination as well. However, they need to produce their graduation certificate at the time of counselling.
Age Criteria - There is no age limit for candidates in order to appear for MAH CET 2018
The application procedure of MAH CET 2018 was completely online. MAH CET 2018 application forms were available from January 22, 2018, and the last date of submission was February 17, 2018. Applicants had to first register by entering a valid e-mail id and generate a password. After the process of registration, the candidates could re-login and fill all the mandatory information required on the form.
MAH CET Application Fee - The application fee of MAH CET 2018 had to be paid either through net banking or by a debit/credit card. Candidates belonging to the General category had to pay a fee of Rs 1000, while the fee for reserved category candidates was Rs 800. The fee structure is:
