Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa), will release the GIM Goa cutoff for the academic session of 2026-28 after the CAT results are released on its official website, gim.ac.in. GIM Goa PGDM admission 2026-28 does not accept the CMAT score. Earlier, the GIM Goa CMAT cutoff was considered for releasing the shortlist. Authorities will shortlist the applicants based on the cutoff marks met in any of the exams, such as CAT, XAT, and GMAT. Candidates with the GIM Goa CMAT cutoff are not eligible to apply for MBA/PGDM programs this year. Candidates shortlisted based on the GIM Goa cutoff will be assessed further through selection rounds, which include- Objective assessment (based on CAT, XAT, and GMAT score), Past Academic Records, Work experience (if any), Face-to-face evaluation, and Profile Assessment Index/ Diversity. GIM Goa Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Admission to full-time MBA/PGDM programs at GIM Goa are advised to check the required eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for GIM Goa 2026 admission is as follows:

  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by June 2026 may also apply. Candidates in the last year of their degree should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category) in the latest examination.
  • Must have taken/ appeared for any one of the following:

XAT 2026 (Applicants under the Achievers/ELITE round may also apply using XAT 2025).

CAT 2025 (Applicants under the Achievers/ELITE round may also apply using CAT 2024).

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) takes place between January 1, 2024, to January 15, 2026.

GIM Goa Selection Criteria

After the GIM Goa cutoff is announced, shortlisted candidates are evaluated on different terms before the final admission. The GIM Goa selection criteria comprise exam scores, past academic performance, work experience (if any), face-to-face evaluation (personal interview), and profile assessment. All these criteria are given different weightages in the overall selection process. The weightage of each round is mentioned in the table below.

Here are some top MBA colleges in India with fees under Rs. 2 lakh and their exam/cutoff details:

  • SIMSREE, Mumbai – Fee around Rs. 1.3–1.4 lakh for 2 years. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, MAT, ATMA. Cutoff is very high, usually 99+ percentile in CAT/CMAT.

  • PUMBA (Dept. of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University) – Fee around Rs. 1.2–1.3 lakh. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, ATMA. Cutoff approx. 75+ percentile in CAT, 90–95+ percentile in CMAT, high scores in MAH-CET.

  • TISS, Mumbai (MA HRM & other management-related programmes) – Fee around Rs. 1.7–1.9 lakh. Accepts CAT for some courses. Qualifying cutoff is around 60–70 percentile, but final selection cutoffs are higher.

You can download CMAT question papers and their solutions for the years 2021 to 2025 from trusted education websites. The 2021 papers are available in PDF format and include both shift 1 and shift 2 with solutions. These papers also have the optional section Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

For the year 2025, you will find complete question papers for both shifts along with correct answers. These papers cover all the sections like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

You can use these question papers to practice and understand the pattern of the exam. They are helpful for time management and identifying important topics.

  2. Final Year Students : If you are in the final year of your graduation, you can also apply, but you must complete your degree before the admission process ends.

  4. Age Limit : There is no age limit to apply for CMAT.
