    CMAT 2025 analysis for shift 1 is available now as per the reviews from the students who appeared in the CMAT exam morning session. The overall difficulty level of the CMAT 2025 shift 1 was easy. CMAT shift 2 will be available right after the conclusion of the entrance test. As per past year trends, the difficulty level of the CMAT 2025 exam will be on moderate lines.     The overall difficulty level of shift 2 of the CMAT exam was similar to Shift 1 CMAT exam. The CMAT exam was moderate. Based on the feedbacks received from students, the general awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship sections were tricky and more challenging.     CMAT Exam Analysis: Logical and Verbal Reasoning

    Out of 20 questions, 14 were asked from the non-verbal reasoning and 6 from the verbal reasoning. All the questions asked in the logical and verbal reasoning sections are stand alone questions. The 16-17 good attempts with 80% accuracy is a good attempt to score marks in this section. The questions on Verbal Reasoning included questions such as assertion-reason, analogy, odd one, strong/weak arguments, Syllogisms etc. The verbal reasoning questions were not lengthy and very easy to solve.

    • Some of the questions in Quant were tricky, and GK was easy
    • There were 5 DI sets in CMAT 2023 quants section and all the questions were easy
    • As per students, the overall difficulty level of CMAT 2023 exam shift 1 was on the easier side
    • In GK section most of the questions were on the static side
    • As per students' reaction, candidates who appeared in CMAT shift 1 and targeted JBIMS then they have to score more than 330 to get a call from there
    • 1 question was wrong in QA and a few questions were wrong in LR

    CMAT Exam 2021 Analysis by Career Launcher

    As per the exam analysis of CMAT by Career Launcher, an attempt of 19-23 questions in the Quantitative section is a good attempt. There was a total of 8 questions from the verbal reasoning section out of the total 25 questions. The questions were fairly easy and direct. There were 16 math-based reasoning questions. There was a set on blood relations consisting of 4 questions. Questions appeared from areas like Code decoding, Venn diagram, Rank, Analogy, number series, and direction.

    The RC questions were mainly fact-based and the passage was easy to comprehend. Furthermore, the replacement of underlined para and sentence completion questions tested the basic grammar knowledge of the candidate. There was one error correction asked. Overall, all the questions could have been attempted in the time period of 35 to 45 minutes. The broad topics covered in Static GK were Indian Polity, Business & Economics, and International Affairs.

    CMAT 2021 added a new section to the test making it a three-and-a-half-hour test from the earlier three-hour test.     Verdict

    • Overall, the test was slightly tougher than CMAT 2020.
    • As is the case generally with CMAT 2021, this year in shift 1 too, time was not a constraining factor.
    • General Awareness (GK) Section was challenging and will become the decisive section and impact the overall CMAT percentile.

    CMAT 2021 Marking Scheme

    Candidates should know the marking scheme of CMAT 2021. Check below to know the same.

    • For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded
    • For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted
    • If more than one option is found correct, in that case:

      • Multiple corrections will be given four marks

      • An incorrect option will be given a -1 mark

      • Unattempted questions will be given no marks

    • In this section, a total of 25 questions from Analytical reasoning and Verbal reasoning will be asked.
    • In the previous year, there were 4 questions from Verbal reasoning and the remaining were from Analytical reasoning.
    • All the analytical questions are from various topics such as grouping, distribution, arrangement, comparison, coding/decoding, blood relations, directions, cube, sequence, clock, calendar, etc. and the Verbal reasoning portion covers- statement conclusion, reasoning & assertion, word relationship, and statement argument.

    • Reading comprehension will cover a total of 6 questions and the rest will be from verbal ability.

    • General awareness is thought to be the most difficult section.
