"100% Placement" - once the go-to marketing line for colleges - has quietly died on paper, at least for some. You'll rarely see college brochures or ads shouting this number out loud anymore. That's because the way colleges arrive at "100% placement" has changed: many now balance the number by factoring in students who opted for higher studies, leaving unplaced students out of the calculation altogether and effectively rounding the placement percentage up to 100%. Even the big IIMs do this, since placement percentage still plays a make-or-break role for MBA aspirants choosing a college.
The data says that a college with a 100% placement may have a lower median salary than another institute with a slightly lower placement percentage and a higher salary. Therefore, other factors should also be considered while picking colleges. Other aspects to evaluate a college apart from the placement percentage-

Hello Dear Student,
Yes, you can pursue an
MBA
at age 35 with 3 years of experience, but a traditional 2-year full-time program may pose placement challenges. Instead, look into Executive MBAs (EMBA), one-year full-time programs (like at ISB), or online/part-time MBAs which actively welcome your maturity and life perspective.
