SP Jain will not accept the CMAT exam 2026 for admission to its PGDM courses. SP Jain accepts a valid CAT or GMAT score for its admission process. The CMAT 2026 will be conducted by NTA in two different shifts. CMAT is the second-best exam for MBA aspirants after the CAT exam. SP Jain undertakes students for its PGDM programs under four specializations namely, Finance, Information Management, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain.

SP Jain's expected cutoff for the CAT and GMAT is released based on the analysis of the CAT and GMAT exams. The exams conducted in different shifts are compared using the difficulty terms to judge the normalization effect. Other important factors, such as the number of candidates appearing and the seats offered by participating institutes, are also involved. It is then compared with previously conducted exams. Selection Process after SP Jain Cutoff

To apply at SP Jain a candidate needs a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized university. CAT and GMAT entrance scores are accepted. Both fresh graduates and candidates with a maximum of five years of work experience can apply for the program. To apply for PGDM the aspirants must fill out the online application form available from September every year. The application processing fee is INR 2000.

The applicants are shortlisted based on their profiles as per the SP Jain PGDM admission. They must also meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams. The profiles are evaluated, and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile-based and Profile-cum-Score-based.

For selection, the applicants’ overall profile and the following factors are considered :

Academic background – A strong and consistent performance in 10th grade, 12th grade, and every year of graduation.

Work experience – Relevance of work experience for the chosen specialization.

Entrance scores – Meeting the minimum eligibility cutoff in the required entrance exam is mandatory.

Versatility and achievements - Endeavours in diverse fields of interest and noteworthy past achievements.

With an 80 percentile in CMAT, you can get admission in decent Tier-2 MBA colleges.
Good options include Jaipuria Institute, IMT Nagpur/Hyderabad, SDMIMD Mysore, and XIME.
Top IIMs are not possible, but these colleges offer reasonable placements and exposure.
