SNAP 2025 Score Calculator: How to Calculate SNAP Score?

The SNAP aspirants need to know how the SNAP score is calculated. The SNAP score calculator simplifies the calculation and helps candidates predict their SNAP score. The SNAP 2025 score calculator helps candidates to analyse their performance in the SNAP exam effectively, with the total of correct and incorrect attempts. The SNAP exam is conducted out of 60. As per the SNAP marking scheme, 1 mark is given for each correct answer and 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The SNAP raw score is calculated as per the formula:

SNAP Score = 1 * (number of correct answers) - 0.25 * (number of incorrect answers)

For example, if you answered 50 questions out of a total 60 number of questions in the SNAP exam, with 40 correct and 10 incorrect. The SNAP score should be,

SNAP raw score = 1 * 40 - 0.25 * 10 = 37.5.

Candidates can appear for up to two SNAP tests in a year. SIU chose the best score among all the test scores achieved by applicants. The SNAP question papers of 3 different test dates will comprise questions of similar patterns and difficulty levels. So, the SNAP exam includes the questions which were normalised for the difficulty level across 3 slots. The SNAP officials do not undergo any SNAP normalisation process to release the final SNAP results.

SNAP Score Calculator 2025: How the SNAP Percentile is Calculated?

Apart from the SNAP raw score, the SNAP percentile is calculated to release the final SNAP results. SNAP percentile is a relative ranking of how well a candidate performed in the SNAP exam 2025 compared to other test takers. SNAP score to percentile measures the percentage of test takers who score lower than a particular candidate.

Use the SNAP Percentile Predictor to estimate the percentile.

The SNAP percentile is computed as per the formula:

SNAP Percentile = [(Total No. of Candidates Appeared in SNAP Exam - Rank of the Candidate) / Total Number of Candidates] X 100

Assume 20,000 students appeared for the SNAP exam. The SNAP percentile of students may be as follows:

Name of the Student

SNAP Rank

SNAP Percentile

A

1

Percentile = (20000-1)/20000*100 = 99.99

X

7

Percentile = (20000-7)/20000*1000 = 99.96

SNAP Score vs Percentile 2025 (Expected)

Analysing the SNAP score vs percentile will help the candidates who attend the SNAP exam to know how much the SNAP percentile will receive for the SNAP raw score attained in the test. The expected SNAP marks vs percentile 2025 analysis is mentioned table below as per the previous year's trends.

Have a question related to SNAP ?

Hi there,

You have to apply separately for each symbiosis college, like SIBM Pune, as they as not automatically included. The CAT form automatically includes many IIMs, but the SNAP exam is a separate test that is given for admission to Symbiosis Institute, which requires its own separate application and fee.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello,

No, you don’t need to appear for SNAP for a PG Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie.

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is only for admission to MBA/PGDM programs in Symbiosis institutes. A PG Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie is a vocational/skill-based course , not an MBA. Admission usually depends on 10+2 marks, graduation, or the institute’s own entrance/interview .

Hope it helps !

With a 70 percent in CAT Examination, you can go for various B-Schools or private collages. The S. K. Patel Institute of Management in Gandhinagar is an option for those who score 70-80 percent in their CAT examination or The Gujarat Institute of Management (GIM) in Goa with a cutoff of 60-80 percentage. These are the collages you can look for in Gujarat or nearby.

Thank You.

Top MBA colleges based on CAT, XAT, SNAP, and NMAT scores include some of India’s best institutions. For CAT, the IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta) and FMS Delhi are highly regarded. XAT results in prestigious colleges like XLRI Jamshedpur and XIMB. SNAP is known for Symbiosis Institutes, such as SIBM Pune and SCMHRD. NMAT scores open doors to NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR Mumbai, and ISB Hyderabad. Each exam has unique eligibility requirements, and their cutoffs vary, so it's important to research the specific criteria and select based on your preferences and strengths.

Hello Greetings

As a ward of defence, you may be eligible for a concession in the admission process at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS). However, the GD-PI call is based on various factors, including your SNAP percentile, academic performance, and work experience.

SNAP Percentile and GD-PI Call

A SNAP percentile of 62 is a decent score, but it may not guarantee a GD-PI call from SIMS. The institute typically shortlists candidates with higher percentiles, usually above 70-75.

Defence Quota

As a ward of defence, you may be eligible for a concession in the admission process. SIMS has a defence quota, which reserves a certain percentage of seats for wards of defence personnel. However, this quota is subject to certain conditions and eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the defence quota, you'll need to meet the following conditions:

1. *Defence personnel*: Your parent/spouse should be a serving or retired defence personnel.

2. *Certificate*: You'll need to produce a certificate from the defence authorities, confirming your parent's/spouse's defence background.

3. *SNAP registration*: You should have registered for SNAP and applied to SIMS under the defence quota.

GD-PI Call

While your SNAP percentile of 62 may not guarantee a GD-PI call, your defence quota eligibility may improve your chances. SIMS may consider your application under the defence quota and shortlist you for the GD-PI process.

Next Steps

To increase your chances of getting a GD-PI call, make sure to:

1. *Apply under the defence quota*: Ensure that you've applied to SIMS under the defence quota and provided the required certificate.

2. *Meet the eligibility criteria*: Verify that you meet the eligibility criteria for the defence quota.

3. *Prepare for GD-PI*: Prepare for the GD-PI process by practicing your communication skills, staying updated on current events, and preparing your resume and SOP.

Keep in mind that the GD-PI call is subject to the institute's discretion, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call.

Have a great day
