SNAP Score vs Percentile 2024: Symbiosis International University (SIU) will announce SNAP 2024 result in online mode probably in the second week of January 2024. SNAP 2024 result will be announced on the official website of SIU- snaptest.org. Candidates aspiring to pursue management education at the reputed Symbiosis International University (SIU) and its affiliated institutes must know the ideal SNAP score they need to achieve in the SNAP 2024. The SNAP score vs percentile criteria for various MBA colleges accepting SNAP changes annually due to the exam’s varying difficulty. Candidates can check out the expected SNAP marks vs percentile 2024 to calculate their probable percentile for admission to top MBA colleges.
The SNAP score is the total marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, while the SNAP percentile is the number of test takers who scored less than or equal to them in the SNAP exam. The SNAP score and percentile are important factors that determine their rank and SNAP cutoff marks for different SIU-affiliated institutes, which have their own SNAP selection process with Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds. In this article from careers360, we will help you understand the SNAP score vs percentile 2024 criteria for various institutes and how to figure out the chances of getting admission in those top B-schools.
The SNAP marking scheme 2024 determines how the SNAP score and percentile are calculated based on correct and incorrect answers. Each question carries one mark, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions. The table below shows the section-wise distribution of questions, marks, and negative markings in the SNAP 2024 exam pattern.
Section | No. of Questions | Marks per Correct Answer | Negative Marking | Total Marks |
General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability | 15 | +1 | -0.25 | 15 |
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency | 20 | +1 | -0.25 | 20 |
Analytical & Logical Reasoning | 25 | +1 | -0.25 | 25 |
Total | 60 | - | - | 60 |
The sum of a candidate's marks in the SNAP exam is their SNAP 2024 score. It is based on the number of correct and incorrect answers the candidate gave in each exam section. The SNAP 2024 score is an important factor that determines the SNAP percentile and rank of a candidate among all the other aspirants. The SNAP 2024 score also influences the SNAP cutoff for different SIU-affiliated institutes, which conduct their own selection process after the SNAP exam. SNAP 2024 score calculation will done for every SNAP test session, ranks and percentile will be calculated thereafter.
A simple formula can be used to determine the SNAP score 2024, which considers the number of correct and incorrect answers a candidate provides in the SNAP exam. This is the formula for SNAP score 2024:
SNAP Score 2024 = (Number of Correct Answers x 1) - (Number of Incorrect Answers x 0.25) |
This means that for every correct answer, a candidate will get one mark, and for every incorrect answer, a candidate will lose 0.25 marks. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions. The maximum SNAP score 2024 that a candidate can get is 60, which is the total number of questions in the SNAP 2024 exam.
For example, if a candidate has attempted 50 questions in the exam, out of which 40 are correct and 10 are incorrect, then the SNAP score 2024 for that candidate will be:
SNAP Score 2024 = (40 x 1) - (10 x 0.25) = 37.5
This means the candidate scored 37.5 marks out of 60 in the SNAP exam.
The SNAP 2024 percentile is the percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a candidate in the SNAP exam. It is a relative measure of a candidate’s performance and rank among all the candidates who appeared for the SNAP exam. The SNAP 2024 percentile is another important factor determining the SNAP cutoff marks for different SIU-affiliated institutes. Candidates must know this to estimate their percentile through SNAP score vs percentile.
The SNAP percentile 2024 can be calculated by using another formula that takes into account the rank and number of candidates who appeared for the exam. The formula for calculating the SNAP percentile 2024 is as follows:
SNAP Percentile 2024 = [(Total Number of Candidates - Rank of a Candidate) / Total Number of Candidates] x 100 |
This means that to calculate the SNAP percentile 2024, we need to subtract the rank of a candidate from the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam, divide it by the total number of candidates, and multiply it by 100.
For example, if 50,000 candidates appeared for the exam, and a candidate has scored a rank of 5,000, then the SNAP percentile 2024 for that candidate will be:
SNAP Percentile 2024 = [(50,000 - 5,000) / 50,000] x 100 = 90
This means that the candidate has scored a percentile of 90 in the SNAP exam.

Hello,
Losing your admit card after the results have been announced is not an issue. Most institutions and examination boards maintain digital records of admit cards and results. You can usually obtain a duplicate admit card or necessary documentation by contacting the examination authority or the institution's administrative office. Provide them with relevant details such as your registration number, personal identification, and other required information. They will guide you through the process of retrieving your information and ensuring you have all the necessary documents for future use.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hello,
As you have mentioned that you have attempted the 32 questions but only on the basis of that questions one cannot guess that you will receive call from the university or not but than too, I will recommend you to prepare for the interview because in case if you receive the call than at that time it will be not possible for you to do the preparation so it is better to be ready always.
