The CAT 2025 result has been announced on December 24 at official website iimcat.ac.in. 2.5 lakh MBA aspirants from across the country can now check their CAT results. Additionally, IIM CAT 2025 is also expected to release the CAT 2025 final answer key. This year, IIM Kozhikode was the conducting institute for the CAT 2025 exam. The CAT 2025 exam was held on November 30, and the CAT unofficial answer key was released on December 4, 2025. As mentioned above, the CAT 2025 result link release date is expected to be around December 19-20, 2025. The CAT 2025 result link time can be expected around 5 PM. The CAT result will be released in an online mode, where candidates will have to log in using their user ID and password. Soon, candidates will receive their scorecards via email. Candidates must note that once the CAT 2025 results are out, they will be able to access them from the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

After the CAT 2025 results have been declared on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, all candidates will be able to proceed with the admission process for the preferred management institutes in India. Post the release of the CAT 2025 results, IIMs and other top B-schools in India will start releasing their shortlists for Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) or Group Discussion (GD) rounds from January 2026 onwards.
Furthermore, all candidate must understand that each IIM and non-IIM college will have their own cut-offs as well as selection criteria. Therefore, it is advised that all candidates must check the official websites and prepare for the next stages of admission.

With a 60k rank, getting Category 1 at VIT is probably difficult, but you still have a decent chance of getting branches like ECE, EEE, or related courses in higher categories (Category 2–5) or at VIT Chennai, AP, or Bhopal campuses.

With a VITMEE rank around 575, getting VLSI at VIT Vellore in Category 1 can be a bit competitive, but there is still a possibility depending on counselling trends and seat availability. Category 2 chances are generally much better at this rank.

For Cat-1 with 10-year Kannada medium quota, you should aim for around 350–450+ marks in NEET for safer chances in government colleges. Cutoff can change each year, but higher marks always improve your chances of getting a good seat.
