IBSAT 2018 - ICFAI Foundation has released the IBSAT 2018 result on December 27, 2018. The exam was held on December 22 and 23, 2018. ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education conducts its annual management entrance test ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) in online mode for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. The last date of submission of registration was December 17. Earlier, it was December 12, 2018. IBSAT 2018 will be conducted on December 22 and 23, 2018, for admission to nine IBS campuses at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Dehradun. IBSAT 2018 will be a computer-based exam (online) of two-hour duration, carrying multiple choice questions. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in IBSAT 2018 and will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). IBSAT 2018 Final Result
The exam pattern of IBSAT 2018 is expected to be the same as last year. IBSAT is a computer-based test of two hours duration carrying multiple choice questions. As per the last year, IBSAT 2018 exam pattern, the test will be divided into four sections carrying 140 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
The following table shows the tentative IBSAT 2018 exam pattern, along with the total number of questions in each section.

Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for any incorrect response.

As per the officials, the IBSAT 2018 syllabus is divided into five sections. The detailed syllabus of IBSAT 2018 is mentioned below:
Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy
Bar graphs, Column graphs, Critical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, etc.
The section covers three reading comprehension passages from which the questions are asked. The questions asked in this section are direct in nature and seek factual answers. There are 25 questions asked in this section.
Algebra, Arithmetic Progression, Co-ordinate Geometry, Geometry, Percentage, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Profit & Loss, etc.
Vocabulary, Analogies, Comprehension of passage, Contextual usage, English Usage, Incorrect words, Para Jumble, Punctuation, etc.
Candidates would be able to download the IBSAT 2018 admit card after completing the registration process i.e. tentatively from the third week of December 2018. Aspirants will have to use their Registered Id along with their Date of Birth in the requisite format to download the IBSAT admit card 2018. The admit card carries the important details such as candidate’s name, venue details, time of the exam, etc. The admit card of IBSAT 2018 will be available only in online mode. Candidates are required to carry the printed copy of the IBSAT 2018 admit card on the exam date at the allotted exam centre. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
IBSAT 2018 will be conducted in around 94 cities all over India. The name of the test centre, address and other information will be mentioned on the admit card. Here is the tentative list of exam centres for IBSAT 2018.

The result of IBSAT 2018 has been declared on December 28, 2018, in online mode. Candidates can check the IBSAT 2018 result online with their user id and password. The participating institutes of ICFAI Foundation will announce a shortlist of candidates after the declaration of IBSAT result 2018. The selection briefings will be held from January 13-20, 2019. The selection process will be held from February 20-26, 2019 for MBA/PGPM program and March 17-20, 2019 for PhD program at IBS Hyderabad campus.
The nine affiliated institutes of ICFAI Foundation will release their individual IBSAT 2018 cutoff lists for admission to MBA programme once the result of IBSAT 2018 is announced. The minimum marks or percentile required to get shortlisted for the admission process are known as cutoff marks. The cutoff of IBSAT 2018 will vary from institute to institute. Candidates can check last year's expected IBSAT cutoff from the below-mentioned table:

As per the IBSAT 2018 selection process, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for GD and PI rounds. The final merit list will be prepared by the ICFAI Foundation. The participating institutes will announce the shortlisted candidates' list in the second week of January 2019. Apart from the GD and PI, other factors such as candidates’ academic performance and work experience will also be taken into consideration while preparing the final merit list. The final merit list of IBSAT 2018 is expected to be announced in the last week of March 2019.

The candidates must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2018:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institute/university with at least 50 percent aggregate marks (mode of education must be English).
Aspirants with a non-English medium in graduation will have to submit the TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score by May 31, 2019.
Candidates who are applying must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
Final year graduation students can also apply. They can get provisional admission, provided they complete their graduation before May 31, 2019. The last date to submit the proof of graduation would be November 1, 2019.
The application form of IBSAT 2018 was made available from July 1, 2018 to December 17, 2018. The IBSAT 2018 application form was available in both online and offline mode.
Online application – Candidates could fill the application form of IBSAT 2018 online. The application fee is Rs.1800. Candidates can pay the fee through a Debit Card/ Credit Card or Net Banking. Upon successful payment of application fee, the candidates will get an email with the application number and password. Applicants will be able to login through their credentials to fill the application form of IBSAT 2018.
Offline application - Candidates can purchase the IBSAT application form 2018 by paying the application fee of Rs. 1800 from any of the IBS Marketing Branches. With the IBSAT 2018 application form, candidates also receive a scratch card containing application number and password.
