About KMAT Kerala 2020

Kerala Management Admission Test (KMAT) will be conducted by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS). KMAT Kerala 2020 will be held on May 17, 2020 for second cycle in offline mode (pencil-paper based). As per the eligibility criteria of the exam, candidates with minimum 50 percent in aggregate in graduation can apply for KMAT Kerala 2020. To register for the exam, candidates need to visit the official website of the University. The application process for KMAT Kerala 2020 for second cycle will start anytime soon. KUFOS will conduct the Kerala KMAT 2020 exam for admissions to MBA/PGDM programmes in various University affiliated colleges.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria of KMAT Kerala 2020, candidates need to fulfill the following parameters in order to be eligible to apply for the exam - 

  • At least 50 per cent marks in aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST candidates) in graduation (minimum 3 years) from a recognised board/university/education body are eligible to apply Or
  • Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent for SC/ST candidates) from any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply.

The application form of KMAT Kerala 2020 will be available tentatively from February 10, 2020 for second cycle. For first cycle the application form released on August 16, 2019. The application process is online and the last date to fill the form was November 11, 2019 for first cycle.

KMAT Kerala Application Fee - The application fee for For General category candidates is Rs. 1000 and Rs. 750 for SC/ST category candidates.

How to fill KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Form?

Candidates need to follow the below-given steps in order to apply for KMAT 2020 exam:

  • Visit the official website 
  • Fill in your personal details and submit
  • After submission, you will get a unique KMAT Kerala application number along with the password (Date of Birth)
  • Now, visit the official website again and login with your application number and password.
  • Fill in all the details asked and pay the application fee.
  • Upload the scanned image of your photograph and signature.
  • Choose exam centres. You can select up to 3 exam centres. 
  • A profile verification window will pop up on the screen. You are advised to check all the details and take the printout.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Exam Pattern

KMAT Kerala 2020 will be an offline (paper-pencil based) exam. As per the exam pattern of KMAT Kerala 2020, the exam will have a total of 180 questions divided into four sections. Each section will have a certain number of questions. The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours (150 mins). Here is the complete KMAT Kerala 2020 exam pattern.

Marking Scheme: 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The total marks of the exam are 720.

The University will release the KMAT Kerala 2020 admit card for second cycle. The admit card of KMAT Kerala 2020 will be available only in online mode. Eligible candidates who apply for the exam online by paying the application fee will be able to download the admit card. Candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card.

How to download KMAT Kerala 2020 Admit Card? 

To download the KMAT Kerala Admit Card 2020, candidates need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Visit the official website   
  • Login through KMAT 2020 Application Number and Password provided at the time of exam registration
  • Click on the tab ‘Login’
  • Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab
  • Admit card of KMAT Kerala 2020 will appear on the screen
  • Download the KMAT Kerala admit card and take printouts 
  • Keep a soft copy for future use

The answer key of KMAT Kerala 2020 will be released by KUFOS on the following day of the KMAT examination. Through the answer key, candidates who appear for the exam could check the correct answers of all the 180 questions. The answer key of KMAT Kerala 2020 will allow the candidates to calculate their estimated score. Candidates can actually check whether they are qualifying the exam or not as the University has prescribed the cutoff marks for different categories. 

Candidates can also file objections in case they find any discrepancy in the KMAT Kerala 2020 answer key.

  • Click on the 'Result' link and check your name in the PDF through Ctrl+F and entering your name

  •    Candidates may also login with their login credentials - user id and password (date of birth)

  •    Download the result and keep a soft copy as well

Candidates are also advised to keep a copy of the scorecard until the entire admission process gets over.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Cutoff

The KMAT Kerala 2020 cutoff marks are the minimum cutoff marks that are required to qualify the exam. Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, the conducting body of the exam, will prescribe the cutoff marks for all categories. General category candidates need to score minimum 107 marks.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Selection Process

After the announcement of the result, the selection process of KMAT Kerala 2020 will start. The selection rounds which may include Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted for the candidates who qualify the exam.

The University will prepare a final merit list based on the performance of the candidates in all the three rounds - KMAT Kerala 2020 score, GD and PI. The University will conduct the counselling sessions to allot the seats to the selected candidates in the college of their preference.

Hello dear student,

I understand that you want to appear in this exam but dear student this is exam for students who have completed for appearing in the graduation. This exam is not for 12th pass or 12th appearing students. This is for the students who have done their graduation or in the last semester of the graduation. To be eligible for KMAT 2019, candidates must have completed graduation with minimum aggregate of 50%  it's a state level entrance test to admission in post graduation.
