    UP MBA Management Quota Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for an MBA through the Management Quota in Uttar Pradesh, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score, which is 50% (45% for reserved categories). While there are some management colleges that may not require the entrance exam score for the management quota, it is still crucial to check the specific requirements of the respective websites of the colleges. Also, candidates need to provide proof of their past academic qualifications and identification, and some of the colleges might ask for Uttar Pradesh (UP) domicile certificate for state-affiliated colleges.

    General Eligibility Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree- Candidates must have completed their graduation (Bachelor’s degree) in any discipline from a recognised university.

    • Minimum Marks- A minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation is generally required. However, there is a relaxation of 5% for candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories.

    • Final year student- Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MBA admission. At the time of final MBA admission, candidates will have to produce the original copy for the same.

    • Entrance Exams- While management quota admissions may not prioritise entrance exams, some colleges still prefer candidates with valid scorecards for exams like CMAT, MAT, CAT, or state-level entrance exams.
