After downloading the TANCET scorecard, candidates will have to participate in the counselling rounds as per their marks in the TANCET MBA scorecard. Anna University will conduct the TANCET 2026 exam in March 2026 in two different shifts in several cities across the Tamil Nadu state. After successfully downloading the TANCET scorecard 2026, all the eligible candidates can participate in the TANCET counselling process to secure their seat. As per the TANCET scorecard, a list of candidates is released through which seats in different colleges are allotted.
Upon closing of the TANCET scorecard download window, within the span of 20 days to a month, the counselling process for seat allocation can be expected to start. All the details regarding the counselling process after the TANCET scorecard release will be revealed further by the university through its official website.

TANCET scorecard will be valid for one year from the date of its declaration by the university. Candidates with TANCET scorecard 2026 will not be eligible to seek admission in any of the next academic year other than 2026-2027.

Once the TANCET scorecard download window is officially closed, the counselling process can be expected to start within one month. Different colleges accepting the TANCET scorecard publish advertisements or press releases for their respective counselling process. Eligible candidates according to their TANCET scorecard must keep a regular eye on the official websites. Candidates must provide proof of nativity to be eligible for the counselling process.
The cutoff TANCET score for top colleges ranges from 34 to 64 for the candidates belonging to the General category as per the previous year trends. For candidates belonging to OBC category score ranges from 33 to 36, 20 to 36 for Scheduled caste candidates and 19-36 for Scheduled Tribe candidates.

A Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of at least 50 percent for General category and 45 percent for reserved category makes you eligible for appearing in the TANCET 2026.

The TANCET registration will start soon and is expected to begin in February 2026. The last date to complete the application process will be in March 2026. After the application process, Anna University will announce the TANCET MBA exam date in online mode.
