As per the exam pattern of MICAT 2018, the entrance exam will be conducted twice in computer based mode and comprises descriptive and objective type of questions divided into six sections. The number of question in MICAT exam may vary between 140 to 150 and should be completed within 2 hours and 45 minutes duration.

 

There will be a penalty of 25 per cent marks allotted to a question for an incorrect answer in Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning sections. There is no negative marking in Psychometric Test section but it is mandatory to answer all the questions in this part. Failure to attempt all the questions in this part would lead to disqualification. Descriptive Test section will not attract any negative marking for wrong answer.

After downloading the MICAT 2018 Sample Paper, candidates have to solve it in a proctored environment to get the estimate of the expected score, time management skills and plan the exam day strategy. Before solving an entire MICAT sample paper 2018, candidates must ensure that they have covered all topics of the sections from the syllabus. MICAT 2018 has been announced on September 15, 2017. The MICAT 2018 application form will be available from September 27 and January 3, 2018, for MICAT - I and MICAT - II respectively. Admit Card of MICAT 2018 will be available for download from December 11, 2017 for MICAT I and February 9, 2018 for MICAT II. Approximately 4,000 candidates are expected to appear for the entrance exam for PGDM-C offering 180 seats at MICA Ahmedabad.
