AP ICET Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have completed their Graduation from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university with 50% marks.

AP ICET – Difficulty Level
AP ICET is considered easy to moderate because most questions are predictable and based on standard concepts that repeat across years.
The Quant and Reasoning sections primarily test basic application of AP ICET formulas and logical patterns, rather than deep analytical thinking.
Candidates who practice AP ICET previous year papers and mock tests can quickly recognise question types and solve them efficiently.
The exam has questions which are shorter and less complex compared to national-level tests.
CAT – Difficulty Level

CAT does not have a single common counselling process for all colleges. The IIMs shortlist candidates and conduct further rounds such as the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) for MBA admission.
