The NIRF ranking for MBA 2025 was released on September 4, 2025. IIM Ahmedabad again grabbed the first spot in the management category. Last year also IIM Ahmedabad was ranked 1 with an overall score of 83.23, followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. Apart from the big IIMs, others have also marked a massive jump in their NIRF ranking. This year, three new categories have been added, including open universities, state-funded public universities, and skill universities. Last year in the NIRF ranking, IIM Nagpur jumped from 43 to 31, IIM Bodh Gaya surged from 53 to 33, IIM Ranchi improved to 17 from 24, and IIM Udaipur dropped from 16 to 22.
