IIFT Selection Procedure 2019 - The selection procedure of IIFT 2019 will start after the announcement of the result in the second week of January 2019. It is likely to be a two-step process where candidates will be shortlisted based on their IIFT 2019 performance. IIFT 2019 will be conducted on December 2, 2018. The result of IIFT 2019 will be declared either in the last week of December 2018 or the first week of January 2019. The IIFT 2019 selection procedure is conducted for admission in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada campuses. The selection round of IIFT will commence in January/ February 2019 after candidates appear for the IIFT entrance exam and the results are declared.

Based on the performance in the exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the IIFT selection procedure 2019. Stages of IIFT Selection Procedure 2019

 

After IIFT 2019 exam is conducted on December 2 and IIFT results are announced, IIFT Delhi releases the cutoff. Candidates have to meet the IIFT cutoff set by the institute to be eligible for the IIFT selection procedure 2019. The selection procedure comprises various rounds which shortlisted candidates have to go through in order to obtain admission into IIFT.

 

Below are the stages of the IIFT selection procedure 2019:

 

Written Test- In the first stage of the selection procedure of IIFT 2019, candidates are called for a written test as decided by the Institute. This written exam will MCQs and will be conducted in the first week of December.

 

Essay Writing- Candidates will be asked to write an essay or answer the comprehension as per candidate’s understanding capability. This round is conducted in order to assess the writing ability of the candidate. Post the stage, candidates will then be asked to appear for the GD & PI round.

 

Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI)- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a GD & PI. This round evaluates the candidates’ verbal communication skills and is likely to be held in January/ February 2019.

 

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade admits candidates under categories such as General, OBC, SC/ ST and PH on the basis of the cutoff and the marks scored in the next selection rounds.
