IIFT selection criteria 2025 has been released by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade on its official website. According to the IIFT selection procedure, the candidates will be shortlisted for GD & PI based on their CAT 2024 score. Candidates can fill the IIFT 2025 application form online until November 22, 2024. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade will conduct the IIFT interview in February/March 2025 for shortlisted candidates who are seeking admission to its MBA (IB) programme offered at Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada Campuses. The IIFT selection procedure 2025 consists of two stages: shortlisting candidates based on CAT 2024 score and evaluating them through Extempore and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The selection procedure for IIFT 2025 is expected to be similar, but the mode of PI may vary depending on the situation.

The selection procedure for IIFT 2025 involves two stages: shortlisting and final selection. The IIFT admission process will be done based on their performance in the CAT 2024, which includes sectional and overall cutoffs. The IIFT cutoffs vary by category and campus preference of the candidates.
The shortlisted candidates will have to participate in GD/PI rounds, where they are evaluated on various parameters such as academic diversity, gender diversity, work experience, academic consistency, and so on. The final selection of candidates is based on their cumulative score in different rounds, each with a different weightage.
The first stage of the IIFT selection process involves shortlisting candidates for GD and PI based on their CAT percentile. The institute decides the minimum IIFT cutoff percentile depending on the number of candidates to be shortlisted according to the availability of seats. The IIFT cutoffs also vary by the category and campus preference of the candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to fill out an online CV form with the following details:

The second stage of the IIFT MBA admission is the GD/PI round. The personal Interview (PI) round is expected to be conducted online in February/March 2025. The candidates have to appear for this round as per their allotted date and time. The date of PI will be based on the rank and choice of candidates who appear for IIFT entrance exam. Personal Interview (PI) will test the candidate's communication skills, knowledge related to current affairs, business events, and various other parameters.

After the selection procedure of IIFT 2025, a final list of qualified candidates will be displayed. The final selection of the candidates is based on the candidate's performance in different rounds which have the weightages (as per last year) as mentioned below:

Candidates who want to meet the IIFT selection procedure 2025 must clear the sectional and overall cutoffs in the CAT exam. The cutoffs depend upon the category and campus preference of the candidates. On behalf of the institute, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the IIFT exam. NTA's only responsibility is to administer the test and prepare the results. The admissions committee chooses which prospects to admit. The exam is comparable to other MBA admission examinations offered in India. The Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness sections comprise the IIFT question paper. The IIFT exam lasts for two hours. Foreign, NRI, and PIO candidates are accepted for admission to IIFT based on their GMAT results.
