CMAT college's cutoff trends for the SC category remained on the higher side over the years when compared to the CMAT cutoff for the ST category. The MBA colleges accepting CMAT scores will announce the cutoff after the declaration of the CMAT result. No, NTA does not release CMAT cutoff for MBA Admission.
The CMAT registration fee for SC and ST category candidates is Rs. 1250 only. The fee for General category candidates is Rs. 2500. Other reserved category (OBC/PWD) candidates also enjoy the same concession in the CMAT registration fees.
The CMAT exam does not have reservations of any kind. However, admissions to various colleges through the CMAT cutoff offer reservations in the cutoff to the reserved category candidates as stated by the policies of the associated authorities.
The CMAT eligibility criteria for SC and ST candidates is to have a bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. SC and ST candidates in the final year are also eligible to apply given that they fulfill the eligibility terms at the time of admissions.
The SC quota reserved for the SC candidates is 15% of the total seats offered by the CMAT colleges. The ST candidates have a quota of 7.5% of the total seats reserved. OBC candidates (non-creamy layer) are given a reservation of 27% of seats.
