HPU MAT 2018 - Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) conducted on May 26, 2018. HPU Business School conducts HPU MAT each year for admissions to MBA programme at the school and HPU Regional Centre, Dharmashala. Around 120 seats are offered by HPU Business School through the test. HPU MAT 2018 was an offline (paper-pencil based) test of two-hour duration. The objective type test was conducted across various centres in Himachal Pradesh. The online application process for HPU MAT 2018 commenced from April 2 and ended on May 15, 2018. The result of HPU MAT 2018 is expected to be declared in the month of June. After the GD-PI rounds are conducted for the subsidised and non-subsidised candidates, the final two phases of the HPU MAT final result 2018 will be declared in the month of July 2018.
The cutoff for HPU MAT 2018 will be released by HPUBS. On the basis of the HPU MAT 2018 cutoff marks, the final admission will be granted. The HPU MAT cut off for Open category candidates was 26.75 last year.

Candidates who meet the cutoff criterion will be shortlisted for further rounds of the selection procedure. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The final selection will take place on the basis of factors like performance in HPU MAT, GD, PI, past academic records and profile.

The admit card or hall ticket of HPU MAT 2018 was available online for download from May 18. Candidates had to log in with the given credentials to download the admit card. HPU MAT 2018 admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centres along with valid photo identity proof. No candidates were allowed to appear in the test without admit card.
HPU MAT 2018 was a paper-pencil based objective type test carrying 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The objective type test was divided into four sections carrying 50 questions each. The following table explains the same.

The exam was conducted in eight cities across Himachal Pradesh, which are Shimla, Mandi, Solan, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Una, Palampur and Chandigarh.
Applicants should have passed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or institution with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks.
For a reserved category such as Scheduled Category and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum percentage is 45.
Final year graduation students will also be eligible to apply provided they fulfil the eligibility and selection criteria.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 26 years for boys and 28 years for girls for candidates except non-subsidised serving and retired defence personnel. For reserved category candidates, the age limit is 29 years as on July 1, 2018.
The online application process for HPU MAT 2018 began on April 2, 2018. The last date of submitting the application form of HPU MAT was May 15, 2018. Applicants had to first register and login through a valid email address and mobile number. After logging in, they had to select the right programme, i.e. PG from the options including PG/UG/Ph.D./Certificate Diploma.
