It can come as a surprise to many that some of the IIMs also offer BBA programmes. Candidates have to appear for the BBA entrance exams conducted at the institute level. The IIMs are among the top B.Schools in the country and are also among the top BBA colleges in India. Currently, three IIMs are offering the BBA programme, and more may offer the course in the future. In this article, let’s look at which IIMs offer the BBA programme.
The following IIMs offer the BBA/BMS programmes -
IIM Bangalore - It offers the 3-year BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship programme.
IIM Kozhikode - It offers the 4 -year Bachelors in Management Studies programme (BMS)
IIM Sirmaur - It offers a 4-year Bachelors in BMS programme
IIM Udaipur - It does not offer a BBA programme yet. However, the IIM Udaipur BBA programme is expected to be launched in July 2026. The programme will be offered in online, bilingual mode.The institute will release details about the programme later.

IIM Bangalore will open the applications for its BBA DBE programme admissions tentatively in April 2026. Candidates who have completed class 12th with a minimum of 60% are eligible to apply for the programme. The minimum passing marks is 55% for SC/ST.
The test has 60 questions to be attempted in 90 minutes. The IIMB BBA DBE entrance exam syllabus has questions in the following areas -

IIM Kozhikode will tentatively open the IIMK BMS AT applications in April for admission into its 4 year BMS programme. Candidates who have completed their class 12 are eligible to apply for IIM K BMS programme.
The IIMK BMS Aptitude Test has sections on verbal ability and quantitative ability and is conducted for 2 hours with 100 MCQs. Candidates who are shortlisted in the entrance exam will be required to attend a PI round.. The final merit list will be published after considering the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and PI round.

IIM Sirmaur accepts scores from the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT AT). Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview programme based on the scores in the entrance test. In the IIM Sirmaur BMS selection process, 55% weight is assigned to the entrance exam, 30% to the interview, 10% to academic performance, and 5% to gender diversity.
Candidates must not be more than 20 years of age as on the specified date to appy to the IIM Sirmaur BMS programme.

If you are going to clear Class 12 and wish to join Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for BBA or BCom, you need to appear for the AMU Entrance Test (CUET-UG optional for some courses).
Pass 12th with at least 50% marks in any stream. Based on AMU Entrance Test rank (or CUET score if accepted that year).
