CAT 2017 Analysis by VistaMind – Section-wise

Verbal & RC – The difficulty level of this section is expected to be easy to moderate. Usually, RC takes a lot of time as it demands a lot of quick reading. Candidates who have practiced RCs will be able to quickly solve the questions in this section. Verbal doesn’t take much time but only if you know the answer. Again, vocabulary and practice are required here.

QA – This section might bother the appearing candidates with tricky questions. On the difficulty scale, it may go from moderate to tough. Candidates who are good with quick calculations may get an advantage in this section.

DI & LR – This section usually demands maximum time and the same can be expected in CAT 2017. Even if the previous years’ trends are kept in mind, this section is likely to be on the tougher side on the difficulty scale.
