Basic Details About CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT
Before moving straight onto What is the full form of CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT? Let us first understand what are these and why are these conducted. Well, to begin with, there are certain educational institutes like Indian Institutes of Management, Indian Institutes of Technology, JBIMS, Institute of Business Management, Amity University, etc., which provide admissions to candidates on the basis of certain entrance exams. Due to the increasing no. of interested candidates in taking admission, institutes decided to sort out the heterogeneous candidates into selective homogeneous groups. Only the candidates who get qualified are called upon by educational institutes for further selection processes.
Basic eligibility criteria for CAT, CMAT, MAT and XAT
- Candidates should have completed their graduation or should have done their professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA) with at least 50% marks in total aggregate or its equivalent. There is a relaxation of 5% for those who belong to the Reserved category.
- Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for such a national-level management entrance exam.
- There is no age bar to appear for CAT, CMAT, MAT, and XAT exams.

What is CAT?
CAT is the abridged form of the Common Admission Test. CAT is conducted once a year and is considered to be a national-level entrance exam. Indian Institutes of Management conduct CAT on a rotational basis in online mode. CAT scores are accepted by IIMs and other top B-Schools than IIMs. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam with good marks on the basis of the cutoff of CAT are called upon for further rounds as a part of the IIM admission process.

What is CMAT?

i have got 90k in vit will i get cse in bhopal at cat 1
It is a bit difficult to predict the exact case as vit doesn't release any cut off for last 2-3 years. It depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in that examination, previous year cut off,number of seats increased, difficulty level of the paper.
But as far as my knowledge , in 90k you should be able to grab cse at vit bhopal in category 1.

Yes, CAT does require academic knowledge till class 12th. The sections comprise of these components stated below.

I have completed my 10+2 and graduation in distance due to some family problems and my percentage in graduation in 45% and i belongs to SC category can i eligible to this CAT exam please tell. me sir and how could I crack CAT exam
According to the CAT eligibility criteria, if a SC/ST/PWD candidate who has completed any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with 45% of aggregated marks then he can sit for CAT examination. You are really lucky in way as you are on the verge. The same is 50% for general and OBC students.

VITEEE 2021 rank 17373 can I get IT or CSE spl. in cat 1 or 2 in vellore campus . is any Sibling quota or preference.
To get a seat in CSE in VIT Vellore campus, candidate must have rank under 5000 and for IT seat he/she must have rank under 9000 under category 1 (based on previous years records). But as you memtioned that you get rank around 17k , then yes you can still get CSE or IT in VIT Vellore campus but in category 3 or 4 not in category 1 or 2. Or else, you can try getting seat in other campus might be Chennai!
