Questions related to NIT Calicut
Which nit is better for cse vnit nagpur or nit calicut ?
More or less both the institutes VNIT Nagpur as well as NIT Calicut have good infrastructure, faculty and placements. However I believe NIT Calicut has proved to be ahead of VNIT Nagpur in terms of Outlook, Research as well as Campus Culture.
Ideally you can choose any one of them, whichever is at vicinity of your hometown, if you are only targeting placements. Most of the top MnCs like IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Intel, Amazon, GS and so on visit both the campuses each fall.
But if you have plans to go for research or pursue Masters or Doctoral degree from US or higher technical Institutes in India, I believe NIT Calicut will be a better choice will massively help you to enhance your research intellect.

i have got 1856 rank at jee mains paper 2 at obc ncl category can i get seat at nit tirchy or nit calicut for b.arch at csab special round 2020
As you have secured 1856 obc category rank in jee paper 2 then it is quite impossible for you to get any seat in any NIT for architecture courses. But with this much OBC category rank you can easily get NIT Patna even if you belong from other state.
Now as your preferred colleges are NIT Trichy and NIT Calicut then there is no chance that you can get architecture course in josaa all rounds counselling, even if you belong to their home state.
But there is a chance that you can get Architecture course in these two NITs in Csab counselling as per seeing the last year cut off trends.
Last year for csab round 1 counselling the cut of closing ranks for architecture courses for obc candidates was :-
NIT TRICHY :-
Home state - 3691
Other state - 1947
NIT CALICUT :-
Home state - 2506
Other state - 2868
So, as you can see in csab round you have high chances of getting architecture branch in these two nits. But if you are from other state then there is no sure chances that you will get seat in nit trichy.

i got crl 1966 & obc 577 in jee paper2 (b.arch).Im from tamilnadu.I didnt get any mockseat allotment and i was disappointed after round 1,since no seat was alloted for me.i prefered NITT,NITC,SPAV.but none of the seat was alloted.can i wait for next rounds? but i performed average in b.tech exams.
You can sit for other rounds too as sometimes the vacant seats are too provided to one who have attented every seven round of jossa
Till best of luck, and my sweet wishes are for you

which is good mining in ism dhanbad or eee in nit calicut, please say me ,i have less time
- Firstly Ism is better college than nit calicut.
- Secondly although eee is a better branch but mining at ism is the best you can get as ism is Indian school of mines. And in jharkhand there are lot of industries like, ccl, bccl etc where every year mining engineers got placed from ism with a very handsome salary.
I hope this helps.
which is good minning in iit kgp or eee in nit calicut, please say me
Mining Engineering at IIT KGP is a really very risky decision according to me. You should not expect any placement prospects in Core as very few companies like Vedanta, Tata Steel , ExxonMobil and Coal India, recruit Mining engineers from KGP, that too in limited numbers. Of course in non core sectors like Analytics, Machine Learning and Consultancy, IIT KGP Provides you infinite opportunities.
Besides this you can also change your branch after first year, though you must not rely on it.You have options to pursue a Minor or Micro Specialization in another Department besides Majoring in Mining Engineering. In case you develop interest in Entrepreneurship or Finance in first year, you have an opportunity to pursue M.Tech in Financial Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship, which provides with excellent opportunities in training and placement.
In fact many students from Mining Engineering also go to Grad Schools in Australia and US post Bachelors and many also pursue MBA from IIMs after B.tech. Curriculum of Mining is such that it gives a lot of time to the student to pursue his interests, prepare for competitive exams as well as learn new technologies.
Overall if you come to IIT KGP, it is your responsibility to cultivate your interest and nurture them to supremity. If you are ready and confident to dedicate your efforts and ace campus life, you deserve a place in KGP and must choose that.
If you are not too confident, I believe NIT Calicut EEE provides better Core and Circuital Placement prospects in Electricial Engineering, and you must go there.
