IIT Roorkee MBA Admission 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must follow the given IIT Roorkee MBA eligibility criteria for admission in the 2026 batch and appear for the examinations specified below.
(i) Graduation with a CAT 2025 score or a professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognised by UGC, in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PD). Final year students are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree with a minimum percentage and CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date that will be intimated later. The percentage will be considered based on aggregate marks/CGPA awarded in the qualifying degree examinations.

(ii) IIT graduates (admitted through IIT-JEE) with a CGPA of 7.0 or above on 10 10-point scale are exempted from the requirement of CAT 2025.
IIT Roorkee MBA Admission 2026 - Eligibility of Regular Candidates
The IIT Roorkee MBA eligibility criteria for final year students are that if they belong to the relevant undergraduate programmes and have completed the requirements of the qualifying examination can also apply. In case of non-availability of the mark sheet of the final examination at the time of the Interview due to a delay in the announcement of their results, candidates may be allowed to appear in the interview on the basis of their aggregate results up to the pre-final year in which the percentage should not be less than as specified above under essential requirements. However, they will be required to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the required percentage or CGPA that will be intimated later.
IIT Roorkee MBA admission 2026 - Eligibility for full-time sponsored candidates
The candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a responsible capacity to meet the IIT Roorkee MBA eligibility criteria. The experience can be in a Registered Firm/Company/Industry/Educational and Research Institution/Govt./Quasi Govt./Autonomous Organisation in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. The Firm/Company/Industry shall either be a public sector undertaking or a public limited company registered in a stock exchange or a private concern whose annual turnover during the past two years exceeds Rs. 5 Crores. The Educational Institution should be recognised by AICTE/UGC/Competent Authority.

International candidates who are neither IIT graduates (admitted through IIT-JEE) with a CGPA of 7.0 or above on 10 point scale nor have a CAT-2025 score are requested to visit the website of International Relations, IIT Roorkee https://ir.iitr.ac.in/ for relevant information towards application submission, registration, fee structure, accommodation, etc.

How to fill out IIT Roorkee MBA Application Form 2026
Candidates can refer to the following steps while filling out the application form for IIT Roorkee MBA admission 2026.
Step 1 - Registration (before filling out the application form, candidates need to register first by providing a few basic details to create login credentials).
Step 2 - Re-login by providing credentials for which candidates received the registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 3 - Apply for the IIT Roorkee MBA programme.
Step 4 - Finalise the application form by providing all the details.
Step 5 - Pay the IIT Roorkee MBA 2026 application fee of Rs. 1600 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs. 800 for SC/ST/PD candidates via online mode by pressing the “Proceed for Payment” button. (No application fee applicable for Female Candidates)

The Institute will release the IIM Roorkee MBA shortlist with the list of candidates selected for the further rounds of the IIM Roorkee admission process. Invitation letters shall be sent to the shortlisted candidates for the interview through email. This information will also be available on the Institute's website. The interview will be held at the IIT Roorkee campus.

IIT Roorkee MBA Admission Offer
Based on the aggregate performance, a merit list is drawn for offering provisional admission to the Programme. Provisional admission offers shall be sent by email at the mailing address as given in the application form. This information is also available on the Institute's website. The candidates offered provisional admission should deposit the full fee latest by the date specified in the provisional admission offer letter failing which their candidature for admission may stand cancelled. A system of registration is followed for all the students joining the Institute. The selected candidates will have to register personally as per the schedule. The admission process will be completed through multiple rounds of the offer if required.
