DU JAT Participating Institutes 2018 – The 15 colleges that accept the scores of DU JAT for selecting candidates for undergraduate courses are known as the DU JAT 2018 participating institutes. The total number of seats offered by DU JAT participating institutes 2018 is 1162. Delhi University is likely to conduct the entrance exam around the month of July, 2018. The results  of DU JAT can be expected around the third week of July, 2018. Post declaration of results, the DU JAT 2018 participating institutes will conduct their selection procedure to admit students in B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) BBA(FIA) programmes. DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in a computer-based mode in 18 cities across India. Immediately after the final results of the aptitude get announced, the DU JAT cutoff 2018 score would be declared by Delhi University; thereafter the DU JAT participating institutes 2018 will start their admission process.

DU JAT Participating Institutes 2018: Selection Procedure

The DU JAT selection procedure 2018 conceived by the University of Delhi for admission to the three programmes involves consideration of the cumulative score achieved by test takers in DU JAT 2018; their performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds alongside their past academic record. As per selection procedure, 65 percent weightage was given to candidates’ DU JAT 2018 scores and the remaining 35 percent was given to their score achieved in class 12 Board examination. Test takers interested seeking admission into the DU JAT 2018 participating institutes need to apply separately for each institute. Therefore, the application fee will depend on the participating institutes of DU JAT 2018 the candidate is applying to. Once candidates appear for the exam, they have to abide by the DU JAT 2018 selection procedure.

 

DU JAT Participating Institutes 2018: Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure of DU JAT 2018 will commence just a week after the result gets declared tentatively around the third week of July 2018. Candidates will be required to carry all the mandatory documents such as marksheet of class 12 examination, certificate, character certificate, DU JAT admit card 2018 and eight recent passport size photographs.

DU JAT is a national level entrance exam which is conducted every year for shortlisting students for admissions to undergraduate programmes at Delhi University’s affiliated institutes. It is the university(DU) who decides on the participating institutes of DU JAT 2018 for being the conducting body of the entrance exam. The DU JAT 2018 application process began on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, and the last date to apply is Thursday, June 7, 2018 (6 PM).

According toDU JAT exam pattern 2018, the test duration of the test is two hours. Candidates need to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) divided into four sections. Each section will contain 25 MCQs and the total number of questions add up to 100 questions. Each correct answer will fetch +3 marks, while an incorrect response will face a penalty of -1 mark.  Zero Marks (0) is allotted for the unattempted questions. The overall score of DU JAT exam is 300 marks.
