DU JAT Participating Institutes 2019: Selection Procedure
The DU JAT selection procedure 2019 conducted by the University of Delhi for admission to the three programmes involves the following-
cumulative score achieved by test takers in DU JAT 2019;
their performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds
their past academic record.
As per selection procedure, 65 percent weightage was given to candidates’ DU JAT 2019 scores and the remaining 35 percent was given to their score achieved in class 12 Board examination. Test takers interested seeking admission into the DU JAT 2019 participating institutes need to apply separately for each institute. Therefore, the application fee will depend on the participating institutes of DU JAT 2019 the candidate is applying to. Once candidates appear for the exam, they have to abide by the DU JAT 2019 selection procedure.

DU JAT is a national level entrance exam which is conducted every year for shortlisting students for admissions to undergraduate programmes at Delhi University’s affiliated institutes. It is the university(DU) who decides on the participating institutes of DU JAT 2019 for being the conducting body of the entrance exam. The DU JAT 2019 application process will commence tentativelly from May 20.
According to DU JAT exam pattern 2019, the test duration of the test is two hours. Candidates need to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) divided into four sections. Each section will contain 25 MCQs and the total number of questions add up to 100 questions. Each correct answer will fetch +3 marks, while an incorrect response will face a penalty of -1 mark. Zero Marks (0) is allotted for the unattempted questions. The overall score of DU JAT exam is 300 marks.
