IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2026-2028: Key Highlights

The following are some of the key highlights from the IIM Udaipur 2026 admission criteria.

• Starting with the 2026-28 MBA batch, IIM Udaipur will exit the Common Admission Process (CAP) and will conduct its own independent admission process as per the IIM 2026 Admission

• CAT 2025 scores will be the primary shortlisting criteria for the two-year MBA program.

IIM Udaipur Admission Process 2026-2028: Stage I

• Only candidates clearing the IIM Udaipur CAT 2025 cutoff are eligible to participate in the IIM Udaipur PA (WAT and PI process) round, part of the IIM Udaipur selection process.
  
  The CAT 2025 minimum cutoffs are yet to be announced. Make sure you keep an eye on this page to find the CAT 2025 cutoff for PI shortlisting.

NOTE: If it is found that the actual number of short-listed candidates are less than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI category-wise, then the overall as well as section-wise minimum score would be reduced (or increased) to get the desired number of candidates for the IIM Udaipur admission process 2026.

IIM Udaipur Minimum Score (Composite) for Interview 2026 Calls (Expected)

IIM Udaipur Selection Process 2026-2028: Stage II

• Those who are selected for the IIM Udaipur WAT and PI round, based on the IIM Udaipur Admission criteria, Stage 1 will be called for the IIM Udaipur selection process, Stage II, which is the IIM Udaipur WAT and PI round.

• In this round, candidates will have to write an essay given on the spot, followed by the IIM Udaipur Personal Interview 2026

• The IIM Udaipur final merit list 2026 will be based on the CAT normalised score, WAT and PI score, academic profile, work experience, and gender diversity as per the IIM Udaipur admission process 2026.

NOTE: Work Experience will be considered up to January 31, 2026.

IIM Udaipur Acceptance Rate 2024-2026

In the 2024-2026 batch IIM Udaipur acceptance rate for the general category was 39.5% of the candidates selected for the IIM Udaipur Interview rounds. 728 general candidates were offered an IIM Udaipur seat, which turns out to be only 0.45% of the students who applied for it. The IIM IIM Udaipur acceptance rate for the SC (1.35 %), EWS (0.75), and NC-OBC(1.05%), SC (1.35%) were below 2% of the candidates who applied for the IIM IIM Udaipur admission.

IIM Udaipur Work Experience Documents 2026-2028

• Mandatory list of documents required (as applicable) to claim work experience in the case of self-employment/partnership experience/self-owned start-up:

  • Registered partnership deed of the firm

  • Filing with Registrar of Companies (RoC)

  • GST registration of firm

  • PAN Card of the firm

  • Income Tax Returns (ITR)

  • Bank account statement of the firm

  • Statutory Auditor Appointment of the firm

  • Purchase/work orders for the duration of claim of the firm/company’s operations and

  • MSME certificate (if applicable)

  • DIPP Certificate of Recognition (if applicable)
    These documents should explicitly mention the name of the firm, registration number and the candidate as a promoter/director.

IIM Udaipur Admission Process Fees 2026-2028

A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Udaipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance, an Offer Acceptance amount of Rs.1,00,000/-.

5. Withdrawal and Refund Policy:

In accordance with the refund policy of MBA Batch 2025-27 for the domestic candidate the following guidelines are applicable:

• Withdrawal before the specified deadline – Candidates who withdraw within the Institute’s specified deadline will receive a full fee refund after deducting INR 1,000 as processing charges.

• Withdrawal on and after program commencement date i.e. 23rd June and till July 7th, 2025, 11:59PM – Candidates who withdraw after the Program commencement date and before or on 7th July 2025, 11:59PM will be refunded the full fee amount after deducting ₹30,000 administrative charges to covering proportional arrangement costs towards program, hostel and mess charges.

• Withdrawal on or after July 8, 2025 – No refund will be issued beyond this date. Only hostel & mess charges will be refunded on a pro-rata basis along with caution deposit of ₹20,000.

IIM Udaipur 2026 Admission Criteria: Seats

IIM Udaipur follows the reservation policy as per Government of India norms and as notified in the CAT 2024 advertisement, Eligibility and Information Bulletin. Reservations non-notified in CAT 2024 are non-implementable.
