IIM Udaipur Admission 2026: Female Students Constitutes 66% of the batch.

In the new IIM Udaipur admission 2026-28, gender diversity emerged as another notable feature of the batch. For the first time in the last four years, IIM Udaipur MBA cohort has witnessed around two third of the batch consisting of female students. This year out of 378 students, 65.87% students are female while male students accounted for 34.12%. After opting out of the CAP, IIM Udaipur witnessed a sustainable growth in the number of women students in the IIM Udaipur 2026 MBA Admission. In the previous three years women candidates accounted for only 30-33% of the batch.

IIM Udaipur Admission 2026: Non-enginners 56.87% , topples the Engineers for the first time

Apart from the IIM Udaipur gender diversity, the incoming IIM Udaipur MBA cohort stands out for its strong diversity profile in the academic sphere as well. This year, 56.87% students come from non-engineering backgrounds, surpassing the engineering background for the first time in the last four years. The batch includes students from disciplines ranging from commerce and economics to humanities, science, and management studies.

IIM Udaipur Admission 2026: Freshers Constitutes 59.53% of the Batch.

The IIM Udaipur MBA 2026-28 cohort also reflects a healthy mix of fresh graduates and young professionals. Around 40.47% of students bring prior work experience, while the rest are joining directly after completing their undergraduate studies. This combination is expected to create an engaging learning environment where academic knowledge and industry insights complement each other. Moreover, the average age of the batch is 23.46 years.
