Aspirants planning to appear for Alliance AMAT 2026 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority, Alliance School of Business, Bangalore.

Following are the eligibility criteria for appearing in Alliance AMAT 2026-

• Obtain a Graduate degree from any recognized college/university
• 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate across domains.
• Candidates are also required to take any one of the following entrance exams: AMAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT.

Alliance School of Business, Bangalore conducts AMAT (Alliance Management Aptitude Test) in offline mode. The total duration of Alliance AMAT 2026 is 60 minutes/ one hour. 

• The test is composed of 65 multiple-choice questions; each carrying 1 mark. As per the Alliance AMAT 2026 exam pattern, the total marks allotted to the exam are 65.  
• Each correct answer will fetch a +1 mark whereas each incorrect response will call for a deduction of -0.25 mark. 
• The weightage of Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge and General English is 15 for each section and 5 for Comprehension.

The selection process for Alliance AMAT 2026 consists of three sections-

• Essay Writing - This round is to evaluate candidates' written communication as they would be asked to write an essay on selected topics, provided by the admission panel.
• Oral Extempore Presentation - This is conducted to evaluate candidates' spoken communication. Candidates would be asked to make an oral presentation on select topics, provided by the admission panel.
• Personal Interview - Personal Interview (PI) round is the final step in the selection process. The overall personality of a candidate would be evaluated.
