    The Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University, will open the NMET 2026 application form on the official website – www.doms.nalsar.ac.in. The NALSAR Management Entrance Test (NMET) exam is a nationwide entrance test conducted to offer MBA admission. The NMET entrance exam 2026 will be conducted in online (CBT) mode. Apart from the Nalsar Management Entrance Test (NMET) exam, the university also accepts CAT/XAT/GMAT scores to offer admission into the MBA programme.

    NMET Important Dates

    NMET Nalsar Management Entrance Test (session 2026)

    As per the basic NMET 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates should have done their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university/institution. The applicant of the NALSAR MBA programme should meet the following eligibility criteria.

    • Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in total aggregate from a recognised university.
    • Candidates should have a valid scorecard of CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMET (PG).
    • If a candidate secures below 70 percentile in CAT and XAT, in such a case the candidate will have to appear for the NMET (PG) entrance exam.
    • Similarly, for GMAT candidates, they should score more than 600 otherwise, they will have to appear for NMET (PG).

    Note: Those who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MBA admission at NALSAR.

    The NMET application process will be available in online mode only. Eligible candidates can fill out the NMET application form by visiting the official website- doms.nalsar.ac.in. Eligible candidates can fill out and submit the NMET application form within the specified time frame. 

    During NMET registration, candidates will be required to provide all the past educational qualifications, and with that, they have to upload all the required documents.

    • Passport size photograph (front facing) with plain background
    • Category certificate if a candidate applying under SC/ST/OBC(BC) (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS/PWD
    • A relevant certificate which should be issued by the competent authority, if a candidate is applying under the PWD category.
    • For those who will be applying under the EWS category, a relevant certificate is required.
    • Class 10th and 12th marksheets 
    • Degree marks statement/pass certificate (as applicable)

    NMET Application Process- Important Points

    • Application fee for General candidates: Rs.2,200/- and for OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD category candidates: Rs.1,500/ -
    • The application fee for Foreign Nationals is Rs.5000/-
    • NMET application form fee is non-refundable
    • Email ID submitted at the time of the NMET registration will be the samefor all correspondence until enrolment is completed.
    • Change in email ID will not be accepted under any circumstances.

    As per the NALSAR Management Entrance Test (NMET) pattern, the exam will be held in computer-based mode. All the questions that will be asked in the NMET entrance exam will be asked from Language Ability & Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability, and Business Aptitude.

    The following shall be the pattern of the NMET:

    • Language Ability & Logical Reasoning: 30% weightage
    • Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability: 40% weightage
    • Business Aptitude: 30% weightage

    The NALSAR Management Entrance Test (NMET) admit card will be issued in online mode on the official website. The NMET 2026 admit card will be issued one or two weeks before the commencement of the NMET entrance exam. Those candidates who will submit their NMET application form successfully, only they will get the admit card for the same.

    On the day of NMET entrance test, it is mandatory for the registered candidates to carry the NMET admit card along with one valid photo identity card.

    DOMs NALSAR will announce the NMET 2026 result in online mode. Candidates will be able to check their NALSAR Management Entrance Test (NMET) result in online mode by visiting the official website. In order to check NMET 2026 results, candidates will have to use their login credentials, which the candidate created at the time of registration.

    The NMET 2026 result cum scorecard will contain all the details related to the entrance exam, such as the candidate’s name, NMET application number, section-wise marks, overall score, and percentage. Those candidates who qualify for the NMET entrance exam will have to participate in the further round of NALSAR MBA admission process.

    The admission to the MBA programme at DOMs NALSAR will be made by considering the CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMET PG (NALSAR Management Entrance Test) scores along with the scores of the SOP, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. 

    Candidates who qualify for the NMET/CAT/XAT/GMAT cutoff (decided by the admission committee of DoMS NALSAR) will be shortlisted, and such candidates have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview. Students will also have to submit the Statement of Purpose (SOP) individually as per the schedule and format indicated by the NALSAR admission committee. The weightage of each component of the NALSAR MBA admission process is given as follows.

    1. NMET-PG/CAT/XAT/GMAT: 50% Weightage
    2. Statement of Purpose (SOP): 10% Weightage
    3. Personal Interview (PI): 20% Weightage
    4. Group Discussion (GD): 20% Weightage
