ACAT Exam 2025 - Know All About Amrita Common Aptitude Test

As per the basic ACAT 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline in the pattern of 10+2+3 from a recognized university or institution. 

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in total aggregate in the 10th, 12th, and Undergraduate (UG) levels. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for ACAT 2025.
• Any one of the valid test scores of Rank in Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT)/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ GMAT/ GRE. Candidates appearing for these MBA entrance tests can apply with the test registration number.
• Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore campus accepts NMAT scores.
• Department of Management, Amritapuri (Kollam), and Kochi campuses accept valid KMAT scores.
• Those who will apply for MBA-MS at Bengaluru need to have a minimum IBT-TOEFL score of 79 or an IELTS score of 6.5 with an individual score of 6 or a PTE score of 55 with an individual category score of 50.
• Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s degree examination can also apply, subject to the completion of their examinations and viva voce, if any.
• For the final year student, it is mandatory for candidates who is provisionally considered eligible by ASB, Coimbatore, and admitted on the MBA course, to submit the mark sheet and degree certification of the final year bachelor’s degree examination by October 2025.
• Candidates with work experience will have an added advantage for MBA admissions.

The ACAT 2025 application process begins on September 7, 2024. Eligible candidates can fill out the ACAT application form by visiting the official website. Candidates can fill and submit the ACAT registration form probably by February 28, 2025. At the time of the ACAT form candidates will be required to provide all their past academic details and with that, they have to upload all the required documents.

As per the Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) pattern, the exam will be held in computer-based mode. The duration of the ACAT entrance test will be 2.5 hours (150 minutes) which consists of a total of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections- Verbal Reasoning and language Comprehension, Data Interpretation and analysis, General Knowledge of Indian and global Scenarios, and Quantitative Aptitude. 

Each section will comprise 25 questions and each question carries 3 marks. ACAT entrance test will be held across India via Computer Based Test Mode (CBT) mode.   

ACAT Marking Scheme 2025

• For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded.
• 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) admit card will be issued in online mode on the official website. ACAT admit card will be issued 2 weeks before the commencement of the entrance test. Those candidates who will fill out and submit the ACAT application form successfully, only they will get the admit card for the same.

On the day of the ACAT entrance exam, it is mandatory for the candidates to carry the ACAT admit card along with one valid photo ID proof.

Amrita Business School (ABS) will announce the ACAT 2025 results probably in the last week of March 2025. Candidates will be able to check their Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) results in online mode by visiting the official website. In order to check the ACAT 2025 results, candidates will have to use their login credentials such as the ACAT application number and password.

ACAT 2025 result cum scorecard will contain all the details pertaining to ACAT entrance exam, such as the candidate’s name, application number, marks, and percentage. Those who will qualify for the ACAT entrance test will have to participate in the further round of the Amrita Business School selection process.

ACAT 2025 selection process will be held in online mode. It is mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the ACAT selection process. The ACAT admission process will take place after the declaration of result for the same. 

• The selection process is based on the candidate's score secured in the Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) or should have a valid scorecard of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ GMAT/ GRE
• Candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI), on the basis of their academic and test scores, and will be informed about the PI date by email and SMS. (Those who are not shortlisted will not get any communication)
• During the Personal Interview (PI) candidates will be evaluated on their written and verbal communication skills, subject and general knowledge, and overall personality
• Offer letters will be sent to candidates via email

• Selected candidates will have to make payment online by the said date
