Great Lakes PGPM & PGDM 2025
ApplyAdmissions Open | Globally Recognized by AACSB (US) & AMBA (UK) | 17.3 LPA Avg. CTC for PGPM 2024 | Extended Application Deadline: 10th Feb 2024
Hello Greetings
As a ward of defence, you may be eligible for a concession in the admission process at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS). However, the GD-PI call is based on various factors, including your SNAP percentile, academic performance, and work experience.
SNAP Percentile and GD-PI Call
A SNAP percentile of 62 is a decent score, but it may not guarantee a GD-PI call from SIMS. The institute typically shortlists candidates with higher percentiles, usually above 70-75.
Defence Quota
As a ward of defence, you may be eligible for a concession in the admission process. SIMS has a defence quota, which reserves a certain percentage of seats for wards of defence personnel. However, this quota is subject to certain conditions and eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the defence quota, you'll need to meet the following conditions:
1. *Defence personnel*: Your parent/spouse should be a serving or retired defence personnel.
2. *Certificate*: You'll need to produce a certificate from the defence authorities, confirming your parent's/spouse's defence background.
3. *SNAP registration*: You should have registered for SNAP and applied to SIMS under the defence quota.
GD-PI Call
While your SNAP percentile of 62 may not guarantee a GD-PI call, your defence quota eligibility may improve your chances. SIMS may consider your application under the defence quota and shortlist you for the GD-PI process.
Next Steps
To increase your chances of getting a GD-PI call, make sure to:
1. *Apply under the defence quota*: Ensure that you've applied to SIMS under the defence quota and provided the required certificate.
2. *Meet the eligibility criteria*: Verify that you meet the eligibility criteria for the defence quota.
3. *Prepare for GD-PI*: Prepare for the GD-PI process by practicing your communication skills, staying updated on current events, and preparing your resume and SOP.
Keep in mind that the GD-PI call is subject to the institute's discretion, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call.
Have a great day
Hello Greetings
With an SNAP score of 87.9 percentile, your chances of getting a callback from SIBM Noida are uncertain. While SIBM Noida doesn't release official cutoffs, the general trend suggests that top MBA colleges typically require higher percentiles, often above 90 .
However, it's essential to remember that SNAP scores are just one aspect of the admission process. SIBM Noida also considers other factors like your academic performance, work experience, and performance in the personal interview round.
To give you a better idea, here are some general *SNAP Percentile Ranges* for top MBA colleges:
- *Top Colleges*: 95-99 percentile
- *Good Colleges*: 85-94 percentile
- *Decent Colleges*: 75-84 percentile
Keep in mind that these are general estimates and may vary depending on the specific college and the admission year.
I recommend checking the official SIBM Noida website or contacting their admission office directly to inquire about their admission process and cutoffs.
Have a great day
Hi Ashmita,
Based on the available information, a SNAP score of 22.75 is approximately equivalent to a percentile between 60 and 70
This percentile range may qualify you for consideration at certain Symbiosis International (Deemed University) institutes, as some programs have cutoffs in this bracket.
Here’s a list of potential colleges under a SNAP score of 22.75 (approximately 60–70 percentile):
Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Pune
Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance (SSBF), Pune
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Hyderabad
Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS), Pune
These institutes are likely options for your SNAP score. For confirmation, refer to the official websites and stay updated on announcements regarding cutoffs and admissions.

Hello Greetings
With a SNAP percentile of 53, your admission prospects to top Symbiosis Institutes might be challenging. The cutoff percentiles for renowned institutes like SIBM Pune and SCMHRD Pune are typically above 95
However, there are other Symbiosis Institutes that may consider your application. Here are a few options:
- *Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Bengaluru*: The expected cutoff percentile is around 90-91, with an expected SNAP score of 40-41
- *Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune*: The expected cutoff percentile is around 80-81, with an expected SNAP score of 30-31 ¹.
- *Other Symbiosis Institutes*: There are 15 constituent institutes of Symbiosis International University that accept SNAP scores. You can explore these options and check their individual cutoff percentiles.
Keep in mind that meeting the cutoff percentile is not the sole criterion for admission. Your overall profile, including academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular activities, will also be evaluated during the selection process.
Have a great day
Hello,
If you are currently in your final year and have not yet completed your bachelor’s degree, then selecting “appeared for bachelor’s” is the correct option. This option typically indicates that you have not yet graduated but are in the process of completing your degree.
The “bachelor degree” option would be appropriate only if you had already completed and been awarded your degree. Since you are still pursuing your final year, your initial selection of “appeared for bachelor’s” is accurate for your situation.

If your university is not listed in the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) form, here are some steps you can take:
1. **Contact Support**: Reach out to the SNAP helpline or support email provided on the official SNAP website. They can offer guidance on the issue and may inform you about any updates regarding university listings.
2. **Check Eligibility Criteria**: Ensure that your university meets the eligibility criteria set by SNAP. Some universities might not be recognized for certain programs, which could explain their absence from the form.
3. **Manual Entry Option**: In some cases, SNAP allows candidates to enter their university details manually. Look for an option in the application form that permits you to add unlisted institutions.
4. **Keep Updated**: Regularly check the official SNAP website for updates regarding the application process, as universities may be added later.
5. **Alternative Options**: If your university remains unlisted, consider applying to other universities that accept SNAP scores. Research their programs to find a suitable alternative.
For more detailed information, visit the official [SNAP website](https://www.snaptest.org) or refer to their FAQs for additional guidance.
hope this helps you!!

Hello,
Losing your admit card after the results have been announced is not an issue. Most institutions and examination boards maintain digital records of admit cards and results. You can usually obtain a duplicate admit card or necessary documentation by contacting the examination authority or the institution's administrative office. Provide them with relevant details such as your registration number, personal identification, and other required information. They will guide you through the process of retrieving your information and ensuring you have all the necessary documents for future use.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hello,
As you have mentioned that you have attempted the 32 questions but only on the basis of that questions one cannot guess that you will receive call from the university or not but than too, I will recommend you to prepare for the interview because in case if you receive the call than at that time it will be not possible for you to do the preparation so it is better to be ready always.
Thank you..
Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate management programmes offered in various institutes across the country do not necessarily require any work experience to crack any MBA entrance examination such as CAT , MAT, SNAP , etc. Every year, a number of candidates who do not have any work experience appear for various management aptitude tests, score a great percentile, and even get admission to a number of elite MBA colleges in the country. The work experience can help candidates getting an Interview call, and might help them during Interviews as well. But, having a work experience is not a necessary condition to appear for the entrance examination. Some colleges consider work experience while calculating the composite score while preparing the final merit list of selected candidates.
