NIT Rourkela MBA Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before filling out the online application form for NIT Rourkela for MBA admission, it is important to meet the eligibility criteria. Following are the NIT Rourkela MBA eligibility criteria for admission in 2025:
Candidates must have a 3-year bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
They must have scored 6.5 CGPA or 60% for general category candidates and 6.0 CGPA or 55% in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Students in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will have to submit the certificate of completion before the specified date in 2025.
The candidates must also have obtained a valid score either in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT.

Step 2 - Register by entering the basic details like name, email ID, mobile number, password, etc. as shown in the picture below.

Step 4 - Subsequently, select the programme which is MBA, admission category (Regular), and click on the “Proceed” tab.
Step 5 - Now, select ‘Fill Up Application Form’ which will open a new page that will carry all the necessary information that candidates need to fill.
Step 6 - Enter all details as required like the department applied for, studentship category, upload signature and photograph as per specification, gender, marital status, reservation category, blood group, religion, country. Make sure that the details entered are precise and correct.
Step 7 - Click on the ‘Save & Continue’ tab to move to the next page and fill in further details of the NIT Rourkela MBA Admission 2025 application form
Step 8 - Later, the candidates have to enter further details like their residence, parental information, academic qualification as per the eligibility criteria, entrance exam in which the candidates have appeared, details of any past work experience, research work done by candidates in past etc.
Step 9 - Make the payment of the application fee online mode through SB collect of SBI.
NIT Rourkela MBA Selection Process 2025
The foremost requirement is that one must have appeared for the specified national-level MBA entrance test based on which the NIT Rourkela MBA CAT cut-off list is prepared. Based on the obtained NIT Rourkela cut off marks, career credentials and other achievements, the candidates will be called for GD/PI. The list of shortlisted candidates for GD and PI round will be released on the institute’s website. In the next step, the institute will choose candidates out of prospective pools based on test scores, GD/PI performance, work experience and career marks.
